I'm sold on Firefox, while it does appear to use more memory, it put that memory to good use - I regularly launch over 50 instantiations and have yet to crash becuase of it - IE limit is about 30 on my box. With that many instantiations of Firefox, I'm using over 60% of my memory, but with no problems. IE crashes the system at around 50% of resources, and the file navigation system crashes way before that, and god forbid I should be on a high bandwidth site at the same time, I'm lucky if my box doesn't lock up with Ten or Twenty browsers open.

With IE, I'm used to routinely having to hot reboot out of the BSOD just to shut down - not a single crash with Firefox in the month I've been using it. There are a few niggling glitches, the highlighting thing, and if I close a tabbed browser, all the browsers close (IE closes all browsers if I do an [Ctrl-Alt-Del][End Task], problematic when a site locks up trying to install malware - which hasn't happened yet with Firefox) , but with my intensive brower use, Firefox beats IE hands down.
