When people rail against munches, I usually have the same thought as this thread strikes: "I'm not here for everyone, I'm here for the 2% who I might click with." Yet, that same statement applies to every function I might attend; a bar, a party, a concert, a coffee shop, anywhere people socialize. I don't like most people Yet if I walk around ranting about how I don't like most people, the few people I would like probably wouldn't be interested in talking to me. If I want kinky friends, a good place to find a few (I've found) is places where other kinky people go; namely online sites (like this one) and real life munches/play parties/dungeons. In the few months I've lived here in California, the people I've come to enjoy spending time with, I've met through online (here on collarme, and on craigslist,) and a local dungeon. I don't think this ties an entire community together, to be 'in it' as a group, but I do think it gives a springboard for us to all start from. Stephan
