ORIGINAL: Mastaziel With little experiance and no practical knowledge of how to do it...I do like the idea of rewiring a dogs shock collar so the electrodes run down to a lower part of the body. (inner thigh...or that general area[sm=evil.gif]) Then any noise (like moans or screams for instance) picked up by the mic on the collar should produce an interesting result. [image]http://www.collarchat.com/micons/m28.gif[/image] "Mmmm, today pet we're going to learn the meaning of silence" Unfortunately I'm a bad man who doesn't play fair, [image]http://www.collarchat.com/micons/m17.gif[/image] I'd have to include a blindfold, ice (away from the electrodes I think), maybe a cane, and probably a number of large phallic items. OK, so I'm not that mean. I'm all lovable and cuddly...honest.... The antibark collar is what that is . their is another dog collar mostly used to train hunting dogs. It works in a similar fashion but instead of using a mic to trigger the shock , you actually have a remote. In the old style of this type of collar, you would insert a chip, numbered 1-5 into the collar. 1 was a small shock and 5 was a jolt. Now they are a little fancier, a dial on the remote lets you increase or decrease the strength as needed. A "5 chip" as we call it, will cause a pointer to do a back flip. You can get those collars at most hunting outfitters. they range from 1/2 -2 miles usually which can create some very interesting scenerios. And they dont require a mic or the viberations from your voicebox so you can adapt them to be completely unnoticed in public. As for the OPs question: I dont really do the whole collaring process. I use to. But as I got older, I simplified alot of things about this lifestyle. To be honest the formalities became to much of a hassle. If im doing my "job" a sub/slave should never doubt our relationship. I would only collar if the slave in question truely desired the formality and it fit my defination of a collar, which is ownership. All other collars, I see as overused. Especially online. I see alot of "under protection" collars on here and in other places . This has always baffled me. Who are you protecting from? Their is a delete/block/ignore function on most boards/sites/chats. Furthermore, if a sub needs protection, it makes me think that she isnt capable of making adult decisions by herself. Which to me sounds like she isnt ready for a relationship. Now in a poly household I could see a use of different types of collars.
