Status: offline 		Turning a grown man into a Dominant (whether he knew of the lifestyle or not) is just a plain no no.  If someone my age, or abouts, isn't dominant already, he just isn't. 

If you are talking kink? Sure, anyone can try it, even like it and live it.  It doesn't make them more or less Dominant at all.  It just makes them adaptable to another's needs (thus, a bottom). Yeeesh.

Status: offline 		If I understand this situation correctly, I would have just laughed in the face of these insta-doms. Or possibly kick them in the shins.

And if you want to keep your sub friends, keep the losers away from them!

BUT! If, for some reason, you actually think that one of these...Er, gentlemen is interested in being a DOM, not just getting laid with a girl who they think is more likely to put out and shut up, first think long and hard. Will they be compatible with any of the girls on an emotional level? Mental level? What are these girls looking for? Boyfriends, or doms, or both? Will any of them be able to learn, and be paitent and not get frustrated that he's not getting his jollies within five minutes? Is he wiling to list what he wants EXACTLY, have a general idea of terminology, and to respect the girl's limits? Is there any reason to think that the subs won't kick the guy out the door?

If one guy seems to have potential...Introduce them in PUBLIC, first. Go out and get some coffee. If sparks fly, then do what others have suggested and monitor it. If they don't...Then they don't, and the two could just become friends.

EDIT:

I have to agree with those that say if you are being serious about this, make sure the submissive knows and is O.K. with it.  I would also go along for awhile to teach techniques for the BDSM play and to mentor him.

If you are being devious and wicked...which I find hard to believe because Lord knows most of us male dominant types are such angels...then I would find a real SAMmie, let her in on the gag and send her to him.

Play a game where you score a point every time you make the wannabe dom scared or flinch. Some suggestions for them are:

"You call that a spank? Here, let ME show you a spank! Bend over!"
"You? You call yourself a Dom? Don't make me laugh"
"Oh, I'm bored of this one already. Here, you can have him" (To another lady)

Remember to tell them to whisper to each other so that he can't hear and giggle a lot.

Status: offline 		I wouldn't mind someone sending me a SAM. We named our new kitten Sam after Phoenix. So because I am already the proud owned of one SAM personality, two would not be that much harder. I have learned how to deal with them with good effect.

To answer the question though, I would tell the guy asking to go find his own sub, unless you know soomeone who would be just a great match to each of their desires.
