Status: offline 		One of the nice things about ginger root, as another poster alluded to, is that if the sensation is too much, you can remove the ginger and the sensations diminish rapidly (though if the submissive is male and you put it in his urethra, he will continue to have some sensations for hours or days).   I love ginger in the ass.  It's such a mind-fuck pain experience because it's hurting from the inside out -- people have a harder time dealing with it because it's a sensation they probably haven't felt before.  That I'm aware of, you can't insert the other things that you mentioned.  I've read that ginger on the clit for women can make them really randy.  Again, I'm not sure if that happens with the other things you mentioned, and it seems like an unhealthy idea to put those things on the female genatalia.

I don't know how many people are allergic to ginger, but I always ask the other person if they have eaten ginger and if they had any allergic reactions to it.  So far everyone I've used this with have previously eaten ginger.

Status: offline 		I've only had Icy Hot and ginger root used on me - not yet had any of the other things.  I can say that the Icy Hot burns like a bitch in your ass - very painful, and not really in the good way.  But the ginger root in my ass was amazing.  Burned a lot, but did only last 20 minutes or so, and was highly arousing.  Made for some pretty intense orgasms.

They did it to slaves too, for much the same reason when selling them 'on the block' in the Carribean and Southern US states.

From there, it is but one step for the madames to do it to the girls, and the girls to do it to the clients ...

Status: offline 		Not much to add most has already been said, I would like to add a note of caution.

Every one has disclaimers so here is mine.

if you are trying figging for the first time on a partner, Don't expect it to go well the very first time. Sure some times it does and they love it but if they aren't sure of what to expect the burning sensation may scare them and when the Ginger is removed and washed the burn does not go away and this may also scare them. The burn is not always so intense in the Ginger is Fresh but if it was cut and left in tuperware in the the fridge for two days it can be a more intense burn than the fresh.

My adevice in EVERYTHING is take time and give them the opportunity to be HONEST about how they feel.

Sure a Sadist may not care but if he doesn't know she doesn't like it how can he determine if he cares in the first place.

I like to do things I know my slave enjoys because I enjoy her arousal, it is part of what gets me off. TEST THINGS OUT SLOWLY.

Actually, it's used to make horses "carry" their tails. It's still used at the shows for Saddlebreds, Morgans and Arabians.

Thanks for that, I will use it someday.

Does a horse "carrying" a tail mean that it holds the base of it upright, rather than letting it droop over the hindquarters, as normal?

Status: offline 		Master tried a menthol on me once ... the burning was quite intense and it doesn't wash off with water, if anything that only aggravated it. W/we've heard since that baby oil apparently neutralises it. Anyway, Master didn't like it as "it" was in control and not Him. He has figged another sub and felt the ginger was a better option as it did go away on its own ... but He's not tried it on me yet!

The Idea in this case is diameter.  With Figging the further the Outer Spxinkter is Stretched the more the ginger moisture that will be able to be absorbed into the extremely porus anal lining. If you start with a small sliver and simply insert it for a few moments and then continue on with other activities the length of burning time will be shortened as will the relative amount of "Cold Burn" that will be felt by the partner. Penis hole!) and between the Hood and Clit.
