My Daddy and I started off with a small hodge podge of toys from previous relationships...which, I actually find kind of nice. We're able to collect the toys that appeal to both of us on different levels, and we've actually gotten rid of some toys that gave one or the other of us some bad vibes.

So, for Christmas I bought Daddy a trunk from Bed Bath and Beyond. It has a locking mechanism, an extendable handles, and wheels. I'm not one for dimentions, but it has a lot more space on the inside than you would thing when looking on it from the outside. At any rate, it's been a fun item to fill. It's great for fragiles, and other things that you'd rather weren't bent and abused during travel...of course, the lock isn't any good during travel, can't forget that!

We have a tie rack that organizes all of our color coded ropes. It actually looks really nice when put in use, it's really practical, and it hides very nicely behind all of his shirts when we're feeling modest.

We don't have a play room set aside, but that is definitely one of the selling points we're looking at when house hunting...but for now we play in any room we please. Again, this is something that I'm secretly pleased about, because when I have access to a play room that is where I typically play all of the time. So, even though we lack a place to display our items, we do use the entire house out of necessity right now.

In each room Daddy has sets of rings screwed into walls and ceilings. Some are weight-bearing, but since we don't do suspension play that's really just an extra. In general, we don't try to hide them, because they really don't stick out all that much. No one has ever asked, but if they did, depending on the company of course, I wouldn't mind explaining. Most of our friends are aware of our lifestyle, and I think it makes them feel like there is a little less mystery around it if we're not trying to hide every little hint that there might be something kinky going on.

At any rate, as for organization...the floggers and whips are kept in the chest, but we use them frequently enough that they aren't in any danger of molding. If we are going out of town, they hang up on a tie rack like the ropes. It's all fairly mobile for now, and Daddy is trying to keep me from making it look like a mobile Crayola box...I might have a slight penchant for color-coding.

Anyway, this has been a great thread! Oh, and we have first aid kits in the kitchen and in the bathroom (upstairs and downstairs). Generally, we don't actually tote them out for every session. Flashlights are all over the place...the power goes out every time the wind blows.

I can't wait until we get a playroom to display all of the toys we've collected for our enjoyment. Typically we'll pick up a little something or other on every special occasion or just for little surprises, so they all have memories. They kind of turn into kink ornaments...maybe next year I'll get two Christmas trees....

Hello, interesting thread . I used to make a toy box that was highly  transportable along with a portable restraint  table. I stopped making them years ago, not enough support to keep prices down . It had all kinds of places too keep stuff in. I made it after I saw a old world travel case like the British Army used in the late 1800's.Is there  any thing like that out there now one can buy? Currently we use a large cabinet in the dungeon.

I really shopped around for the one we use...couldn't believe I found it at Bed Bath and Beyond. Our main perameters were that we wanted something large enough to hold out toys, something with a smidge of style, and the ability to lock it. I'm not sure where to fid what you're looking for, but keep your eyes peeled everywhere...you never know where the next kinky item will turn up.

I've gone through several attempts at organizing my playroom over the years.  I have a moderate amount of gear and a fairly small room.  What I found most useful were plastic multi-drawer wheeled chests from Target.  I found that having more drawers that are thin, rather than one or two really deep drawers tends to keep the gear more organized.  The chests are great working tables (to put stuff on) when playing and having them on wheels makes all the difference.  Hope this helps.

Dear Lady Pack, Ladies and Gentlemen;

I travel a lot with five large gym bags stuffed with approximately 50 lbs of gear in each.  The fifth is a long box with canes, whips and such--what I call my fragiles.

I have found a cart, the ones for luggage but not forcing you to just use luggage on rollers but, something to stack on a platform, e.g Target two wheel cart that folds out and a handle swings up and lock or, the Staple's Cart, a larger version works well. When handle is up, you can wrap a bit of chain over the handle, hook two belt/tie hangers (looks like a rake with a hanger hook) and can put floggers on the 'fingers' of the hanger or between the fingers to hold the end of the flogger.  Some floggers have loops--some do not.  If not, take a heavy thick rubberband and loop it as to make a hanger loop for it--easy on and off.

Folding camp stools are rather sweet-- can take a tray and you have a mini table.  Two step ladders and a broom stick can make a large rack quickly.  Step stools or collapse type saw horses you can affix rod or boards to make a table.  Cover with cloth or work out of your bag, at least it is height friendly.

Just some thoughts.

Respectfully submitted for consideration,
Lady Hugs

Hi Lady Hugs,

First, I have to say the typo in the name made Me chuckle a bit, since I was thinking of how much I do "pack" to travel.  When I was thinking when responding to this thread was also a good way to organize the car, with the toys, and the luggage, and three grown adults.  I don't know how W/we're going to do it when My husband and My boy put together the portable cross idea that's in the works.

Unless W/we switch to taking two seperate cars when W/we head to places like Atlanta, the trunk is rather full, so ideas for unpacking and making everything accessable when getting to the destination, also have to be compact.  It is a quandry when there is so much, but I'm the type to want to bring everything, rather than just a few select things.

Thank you for the ideas.  I'll certainly be forwarding them to see if they will squeeze into the trunk.  (Maybe I should think of getting a mini-van.)
