i got some low fat Thousand Island Dressing for Ruben sandwiches this morning.
 
You know, standing in front of the salad dressing section of the store is frustrating -
Three kinds of dressings:
1) high fat and high carbs
2) no (or low) fat and higher carbs
3) lower carbs and high fat.
 
Normally i eat my salads "dry" (without dressing), but the Ruben sandwich needs 1000 Island.  i decided on the low fat 1000 Island and will have to put it on lightly.  The rye bread is thin sliced.
 
i'll be glad to get my weight where i want it and have more flexibility with food.

Cold cuts, cheeses, and veggies on buns.
Mayo, mustard (dark or yellow), Miracle Whip.
Chips (crisps)
Kosher pickle wedge
 
It is pouring down rain and the power is off in some places.
 
this girl is lighting the kerosene hurricane lamps to place on the tables.
