You should see this kitchen...chocolate everywhere!
White Chocolate, Milk Chocolate and Dark Chocolate splattered on the counters.

Banana peels are mostly in the garbage pail - that's good.

this girl gets to work cleaning the kitchen.

Pomme, do you think Bounty's needs one of those chocolate fountain things?

We could dip banana pieces, strawberries, cherries (with stem on), pound cake chunks, apple pieces, etc.

We could have a dish of sprinkles and a dish of coconut to roll the fruit in after dipping in the chocolate.

Aylee -> RE: BOUNTY'S coffee shop (7/8/2009 5:27:49 PM)

Christmas of 2007, I got my mother one of those chocolate fountain things.  She LOVES it.  So does her grandchildren and Bunco playing friends.

fluffypet61 -> RE: BOUNTY'S coffee shop (7/8/2009 5:30:35 PM)

It looks like it takes a lot of chocolate to make it work.  What do you do with the leftovers?

It takes a bag of these chocolate discs, I think they run about 10 bucks.  Since you do need to add some oil, you just throw the chocolate away afterwards, unless you have something like donuts to put chocolate on.  Of course, you could always just plan in advance on making chocolate covered pretzels, marshmallows, or whatnot with the extra and then storing them for later, or take into work or class with you.

~~~There are some types of chocolate that is sold that you do not have to add oil too, although they are more expensive.
Costs depends on the type of fountain that you get and then the type of fondue chocolate that you purchase.  The fountains usually have a recipie booklet that tells you how to use chocolate chips as well.
fluffypet61 -> RE: BOUNTY'S coffee shop (7/8/2009 5:42:29 PM)
Chocolate coated pretzels sound like a good way to use it up.
Aylee -> RE: BOUNTY'S coffee shop (7/8/2009 5:49:00 PM)
Fluffy, you have seven grands and YOU are WORRIED about EXTRA chocolate?  Just give each of them a spoon!
fluffypet61 -> RE: BOUNTY'S coffee shop (7/8/2009 5:53:32 PM)
Yes, if we ever have a reunion or something that might be a fun activity.
fluffypet61 -> RE: BOUNTY'S coffee shop (7/8/2009 8:29:10 PM)
