Decpetion is a sweet thing.....do you think that any intelligence agency(not implying any intelligence is envolved in the context of the participants of said subject) would devulge its methods...they have absolute control of all details within these pages.... I use a lot of disinformation here where it counts, nothing is never what it seems...I do believe the neighbor of twelve could atest to that...... I trust....I trust....I trust, uhmmmm, well, I...........ouch..........The famous last words of some trusting fool.....

For the sake of the Moderator's mental stability,
I really hope that they do not.

hiya proudsub,

not just on Collarme but any computer network anywhere, you should only put in an email something you would not mind being read on a billboard.

mnotertail gave you the 411

if you seriously have a need for secure email you can check out pgpkeys and encrypt your messages.

Just like voting everyone should use encryption because it is their right and rights not exercised get taken away .

PS now that you have aroused all our interest , what is in your emails? <eg>

merely basing it on an email that had been sent to me suggesting it was being done.

if the question is- are emails 100% private. the answer is no. voice and data can be intercepted. not only by govts- but by hacker and savy types.

you also might want to know there are cams that can pretty much see thru walls. Between satilites, GPS, and cam, ylour where-a-bouts can pretty much be tracked 24-7. even if you never USE the net- your info can be hacked from there. if big biz can keep out the hackers- and NASA cant keep them out- then you cant expect mr cm to keep them out.

see?

Yes, they read e-mails and they share our personal information with each other so that they can stalk the ones that appeal to them and they report us to the FBI, NSA, DEA, CIA, Homeland Security, and any of the other alphabet soup agencies that Big Brother has come up with.

You BASTARD!!!!

I was going to make this joke!!!!

(I would have included several additional federal agencies....including their acronyms....).

(You bastard!)

I decided not to go "over-kill" on the amount of agencies and, as far as my being a "bastard", all I can say to that is (*best Noo Yawk accent*): "look, beefy-tits, my parents meant to get married!"

NO. They don't read them unless somebody ask them to do. (like you saying X user was insulting me in the mails. then they will ask permision and read that mail) but if they were reading all mail it would be necesary an army. there are here users that complain not being able to read all messages they receive. how can only a small group of moderators read them then? they have a life you know.

a buddy worked on my one computer. he put all the safeguards on it. well- now it takes forever to load. so- i dont use it.

i would compare emails to a chat at a restauraaant. likely someone overhears it- but could care less.

several institutional computers have been hacked. im NOT a hacker.  google "captain crunch" for abit of history.

i use the net to look things up. to post mainly on this baord, and to keep in touch w friends. [occassional porn pics too]

i could care less what the neighbor has on his computer.

reminds me of a friend all mad that- ild say ill be up till 12:30. he would call at 12:29 and expect an hour long chat. so- i started turning off my phones.  i told him the only thing i need to know when im sleeping is if my house is on fire. period.
if xyz was in hospital- im not a dr- i cant do anything at 4am.

then there is jenn- sleeps with 2 phones right by her head. she has a grandchild so this is her flavor of teh day excuse.

emails/headers can be forged. fraud is at an alltime high. i took a supposed check to the bank. loe and behold. fake. they requested the emails, and i furnsihed them.

one of my brothers works for IT; he said my head would spin if i knew how much is routinely turned over to the feds...simply for the asking.

perhaps the unipomper was right. just thinking out loud. per haps this was his beef.

anyhow- there is NO privacy in 2007.

I can't possibly imagine that they have the time to do so.  However I'd operate under the assumption that they do and I wouldn't put anything in a collarme system email that I wouldn't want them to read (then again I also would operate under the same thing with a yahoo system email as well... who knows how long such things linger on servers).

C~
