Point blank.....do any of you play music during sessions? If so, what type? (Alternative, rock, jazz, rap etc.)

He dips His lid to all, My choice as Dom is to choose the appropriate ambience for what I plan the scene to be, which generally involves music. Dungeon type stuff- monks chanting, meditation genre, I've even played a babbling brook while outdoors! I find that repetitive calming music (not chaotic music) further ambience towards successful subspacing.

when Master plays with me he lets me pick my music and it usually leans more towards goth and industrial - very dark sounding stuff -Master's pet 'jouko

There is a dics - the group is called "Exchange" the disc title in question is "Into the Night" The other one I like is a disc by "Andreas Vollenweider" and that one is called "The Book of Roses" Neither disc has lyrics, both are stories in music ... Wonderful for scenes, sex, and relaxing ... All of the above! XxoxX

I love music, so I will definitely add it now. I prefer comtemporary jazz, but I will check out some alternative music to set the mood for different scenes. Basically ditto for Driver1961

I cannot say that I always use music but I can say that I use it often lol I like a wide variety from... NIN and Enigma (the old classics lol) Nature Sounds Movie Soundtracks - Matrix, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Stigmata, etc. Heavy Metal Rock R&B Alternative and many more lol Tigress~FL

Almost always. If it's for fun, usually Alternative/Metal. If spiritual, usually New Agey stuff (Native American flute works well for me) or Orchestral. Master Fire

I found a good combination of things. It depends on what kind of mode you're going for. I like using some Nine Inch Nails, Kidney Theives, and Massive Attack. Industrial and Trip Hop is great for what I like to do.

I use a variety of music to set the background for what is to come. I use anything from classical to jazz depending on what I have in store for the evening. The music is on low though, just loud enough to hear it but not loud enough to distract us.

C usually puts on some music and it is His choice. We have a selection that we listen to quietly. Enigma is a fav of His too, as are artists like Sting and Kate Bush. Give Him a couple of wooden spoons and some of their beats and His drumming skills become apparent[:)] When He is feeling really playful He will put on something with a fast beat lol i find that background music and candles help me go deeper. hugs c

Yes, sometimes. Everything from classic to noise. Not a fan of "lyrics" during a scene tho. Also use alot for Sens-Dep.

I like alot of songs off various movie soundtracks because many have no lyrics but great music to scene by. Spy Game has many I enjoy. Tigress~FL

I just recently started doing this on a consistent basis. I picked up a couple of kink specific discs at Southplains Leatherfest from Butt Boy which are great for impact play. Otherwise I tend to prefer heavy metal, goth/industrial/local artists (I live in the live music capital of the world lol). If I am doing mummification and want the boy to go deep I will use sacred drumming/native flutes music or nature sounds to lull him under.
