Specifically the energy flow between us and using that power to achieve certain goals. I'm not sure if that's exactly what you were getting at but your post reminded me of it. So, this brings me to the actual point of this thread. A lot has been written about the energy flow between those in scene and how it can be used to heighten sensations, intensify the scene, etc. But the same thing applies, I believe, when not in scene. Have you ever gone to see a couple and when you walked into the room you knew they were fighting or upset with each other? They have been perfectly polite with no outward signs of anything but the energy surrounding them is just all wrong and makes you uncomfortable. I liken it somewhat to what you send out you get back. The energy you emit, consciously or subconsciously, has the power to affect others around you. That can be simply you and your partner(s) or others who come into contact with you. So, when you surround yourself with positive energy you have the ability to get that back and that can come in the form of manipulating (not in a bad way) surroundings or situations to your benefit. I suppose I should throw a few questions out there so it’s not just my ramblings starting with am I making any sense and does anybody understand what I am talking about? Then, do you consciously try to surround yourself with such energy? Have you experimented with this dynamic to use it for your benefit? Do you do so moreso in scene, out of scene or both? Whatever else you might think of...

Since I'm still pretty new to "the Scene" I'll forgive you for taking my experience with a grain of salt. But when I am in a scene there is a definite difference in energy levels between me and my Lady, with every touch there is a flow of energy in both directions in order to balance out that difference. Both pleasure and vitality seem to flow, although in opposite directions. And in my experience this is only during a scene, when the logical mind is suppressed to a certain extent and the animal mind is allowed to run free.

In certain circumstances. I personally found the examples of holding up a plane and moving people off amusement park rides to be rather distasteful and self-centered in a negative way. --- I found it rather odd myself... it was nothing I have ever asked for they just automatically did it and its something that really gives me the creeps sometimes.

To be honest with you I think it draws way too much attention. Its not like I can sneak in any public play or anything because we are constantly watched and the center of attention. It does make my sub feel like a princess though.... but it really is annoying.

I project openess and honesty and with the belief the no one would want to do me harm, and amazingly in situations where I could have been punched in the kisser, I usually get a smile and a pat on the headinstead [:)] Most people that meet me say I'm calming and they feel comfortable with me. I think that is a good thing as well. So yes I firmly believe that you can project a feeling or energy to others and they will react to it.

I use energy stuff all the time. We use it at our Slosh to remove vanillas so we can get their tables for our group when it is crowded.

I do consciously make every effort to surround myself with a very positive environment in work, personal life and play.* In work, I am very blessed to own my own companies and therefore able to manipulate my surroundings to find this positive energy. I have been forced to work under other’s by their rules, by their standards of employees, by their standard of ethics and didn’t have as much control over my environment, my own positive energy field. In my personal life, family and friends, this is probably where keeping in a positive energy frame for me is most difficult. Family, you care for them, but you don’t necessarily have to be around them ( many negative mine fields for me here). Friends, I believe the word is used too loosely. I’m an extrovert and have many, many acquaintances, but I choose my friends on the positive energy factor and I am very cognizant of who I weed out of my positive energy circle. So, therefore there are not very many that are close to me in my life because of the energies I choose to surround myself with. In play, or my journey of submission, I’ve always sought positive people, positive learning experiences and positive relationships and was a huge factor into who I joined a relationship with. Proof of that is I have came out of every relationship a better person. (Off topic, but the negative collarme ads wouldn’t have gotten a second look because of only seeking positive and if in an initial chat.. how are you? I have experimented with this dynamic for my benefit. The best example I can think of is a Mentorship that I was involved with. I had just come out of a strong D/s relationship and even though coming out of the relationship was the best thing for both of us, I still felt at a loss, not ready to go into the submission of others too soon that were knocking on the door, still wanting to learn and grow as a person and in my submission while making some transitions in my life. So, I met a wonderful Master, who became my Mentor. I had been watching the fruit on his tree for the positive energies he possessed. He had a life of harmony and peace with his beautiful slave. When you have a positive outlook and use positive energy - people know and respond (especially those who seem to have that little black cloud over them). As a witch, I have noticed that it is not just that way in the life but in all areas of your life. Remember like attracks like. For those who find it creepy to have people respond to that kind of energy I would ask myself "why"? May the power of the positive be with you all.

Another name for having an intelligent awareness and friendly attitude that people respond to. This is not some energy transfer, but people 101. When it is between two people, it is having an intimate knowledge of each other and knowing what the other is thinking.

Positive energy may be people 101 by reading the other from a human perspective BUT...... Energy happens all the time in everything not just an outward projection. What do you call it when you meet someone and just know it's a fit? It's not just the way they hold their head, or what you see as a sparkle in their eye, or how they hold themself in a welcoming pose. Its energy exchange that is calling you. I believe many have came together out of energy. Look around at the one's who say they met and just knew it was right. Energy is GUT that reads the Ok or No way in another too. Obviously I ~believe~

First of all for those that have a problem controlig such Energy i recomend looking into a healing system known as Reiki, it uses Energy to heal and somthimes for other things to and helps create control. my belif is that there is in this world Energy that run it all. One can look at the Oriental consept of Chi for exsample, i belive this Energy is in all things, controlling all things, and by controlling it one, or manipulating it one can cause real changes in the world around one self. Now many things set one in contact witch this Energy, mayby even create it, some use meditation or Spiritual work, others use things like Reiki to channel it directly, but strong experiences, like love making, sening, panic and so on, or emotions like love or a positive relationship and all that can also atact the Energy. Also in my expeiriece to more one use it, the more one gain control and the more Energy one can use. quote: In certain circumstances. Distasteful perhaps, but would you ahve felt the same if it had been done by physical means? Somtimes pepole feel discomfort when the metaphysical i used to ones benefit in such a way, when unease would not ahve been felt had one gone aboute ways in an entire mundane way, i say it is a doggi gog world and one use what one got to get ahead, and i dont think there is anything worng whit that.

In recent years I have become more and more aware of energy flow. I tend to be rather sensitive to the energy a person can bring into a room - sometimes I can just feel the positive OR negative energy that person exudes. I have bought several books on energy - capturing it and directing its flow, reike, chi, etc. I have not had the opportunity I would like to have to dive in just yet. But the most sensational things happen with my Master and I where I can feel him whether we are together or not. It's as though his energy resides in me and I constantly draw from it. It's most amazing. When he plays with me, or sends me into orbit, it's as though he launches even more of his energy right into me and off I go. Recently I gently glided my hands over his entire body as he lay there resting, and we both just buzzed. :) I love it and can't wait to learn more and do more with it!!

Hi Just pleese be careful you are not drawing the Energy from him and not from the dynamic of your relationship. If you feed the Energy of him it could lead to all sorts of problems from him, from tiredness and such to real health problems. Psyhcic Vampirisem is more common than most pepole think. If we hadn't had a positive experience or thought about that type person in the past, there would be no instant connection. Ah, the skeptic in me. I wish it could be otherwise sometimes. Of course if you believe there is something there it will work and there is nothing wrong with that. It is a power in itself. Life can be dull without attractions, beliefs and passions.
