Train her not to meow.

Perhaps train her to stay when you say stay.

Perhaps you can carry her around in an open basket? That way she cannot make you fall.

We have catnip... and Snow loves it.. boy that cat is nuts when he's high.

Socks.. doesnt like cat nip, doesnt like toys, and doesnt like to be held.

The only time we get "into" it is when she refuses to listen and demands to walk/lay/step on my stomach.

i think i will have her checked out.  They've got an appointment for an update on the shots soon.

i dunno, i think she's jsut wierd.  Like Snow will be chillin and she'll walk up and bop him in the head a few times.  (he usually gives her the half lidded eye look of "wtf")

Yeah.. i cant train cats.

::smiles:: i usually do respond to her.  i say "what"  and things of the sort.....

With her its usually "pet pet pet, bite, pet pet pet, bite, pet pet pet, attack"  She purrs and bites all at the same time.  i swear the cat is into S/m.  "pet me while i hurt you"

Hey, you must be talking about my cat. "Pet me pet me pet me, Purrr puuur purrr Chomp"  He actually purrs while he is chomping down and I am yelling and trying to get him open his jaws. But he must be a switch because as soon as I get a hand around his neck/scruff in any fashion he gets that completely relaxed body and glassy eyes.

But I know what the original poster is talking about about tripping over the cat. Mine wont move, so much so that my father was afraid of stepping on him so he would slide his foot under his belly and kind of brush him out of the way, and my cat thought it was fun and kept coming back for more. I have also been known to accidently step on a paw or tail and instead of yowling and freaking out, he just meows and looks at me like "your on my tail moron"

One thing I have done about the constant "talking" is I double check all of his needs are taken care of, then anything extra, like sitting in the window yelling out of it, gets a squirt with the water bottle. Often times now i just have to show it to him or shake it and he will stop.

Carrying kits by the scruff of the neck is what the momma cat
does to move them around.  They normally curl up and get
very quiet in that position.

If a kitty is always under foot I highly suggest a collar with
bells on it so you can hear their location.

A trip to the vet sounds like a good idea.  Perhaps she or he
can give you some suggestions on re-training.

And yes, the water bottle does wonders to deter cats from
climbing and getting into things that they should not.
Do be careful about aiming for the large part of the body
and not the head because of the eyes and ears.
They usually learn to stop what they are doing just by
hearing the sound of the water bottle being shaken.
