We're here! [:D] Of course, we got here early, early this morning. After parking the truck and unloading my car, we went out to have breakfast while we waited for the apartment office to open. A quick lease signing later, we began unloading. That went much more quickly than loading and we had all but a very few heavy items unloaded when we took a break for some much needed sleep. I honestly don't know how long we slept, but it couldn't have been more than four or five hours. FirmhandKY was up and arranging things for half and hour before I woke; the sweetheart he is, when he woke, he closed the bedroom door and let me continue to sleep. Honestly, I have to say that this has been the easiest and least stressful move I have ever made. FirmhandKY is the most incredible man... he has been wonderful! Of course, I think he's wonderful anyway. [;)] Not to digress, but my middle son (the one away in college) finally had the opportunity to meet FirmhandKY while we were in Texas. Before we left, he gave FirmhandKY his seal of approval and declared him "cool". [:D] Anyway, after a final push and very short time, we got the last of the truck unloaded. FirmhandKY cleaned out the truck while I went to pick up some dinner. Now sated, it's time to clean up and enjoy a bit of relaxation. Completely unpacking will have to wait and I'll manage that a bit at a time over the next few days. It'll give me something to do as I've not yet ordered my phone, internet access or cable. I need to take FirmhandKY home tomorrow morning as he's left his business unattended for the past five days and has a lot to catch up on. Thank you all, again, for the well wishes and for graciousness you've shown as I've rambled on while recording this move. It's a very important step for FirmhandKY and I, and it's been a pleasure to have you all to share it with.
