Padriag -> RE: domly vs. sub orders and punishment (3/8/2007 2:49:08 PM)

I've never had a submissive "dom sit" me but I have used them as a sort of reward to motivate myself (as in I don't get to play with the nekkid slave until I get this project finished up... oh man do I work fast! [:D] ). I've also used them to help out in other ways. This is one of the reasons I put emphasis on service slaves when searching, its one aspect of what I want. Having someone to take care of various chores around the house leaves me free to work on various other projects and business pursuits and keeps me from getting overwhelmed with the work load. Right now, with a girl I've been getting to know and am considering I've had her doing some helpful tasks to help me out in one of my business ventures. While I've not had a slave "dom sit", I do use a lot of other techniques to keep me organized. Journaling is one tool, its a lot easier to have something worthwhile to write in a journal if I actually get something accomplished each day! LOL I also create a "to do" list each morning to organize my day and what my objectives are, and usually I have a second more general list of things I need to accomplish in the next week or two. I also have a "deskmate" automated assistant on my computer that reminds me of appointments, upcoming events, checks email for me (an even reads it to me), as well as checking the headlines and such. Cyberbuddy works well for me and is inexpensive. Things like that help keep me focused on what I need to be doing, they keep me organized. I read a great deal, but one of my "secrets" is that I don't read just one book at a time... I usually read about 1 chapter a day in 2-3 books. I find that keeps my attention better than trying to plow through 3-4 chapters at a time in just one book (this is mainly non-fiction reading). I also find that helps me get more out of each book sometimes, particularly when the books are all from the same general field. One thing I have found kind of curious is that by staying busy I tend to be more energetic and more positive in the way I feel. When I have a lot of free time on my hands with nothing much to do I find I get restless, lethargic, and sometimes even depressed. Funny how that works out. I do set asside time for leisure of course, but even then I tend to be "productive", for example just over a month ago I bought a banjo and have been teaching myself to play, I practice an hour every day and its become something I look forward to each day to relax a bit. As for punishing the poor girl Michael, I would suggest forcing her to have sex with you but that's just too horrible a fate. [;)] Kidding of course.
