You are right, nyrisa, they don't give any indication of the age at all; just proportion of singles. That being said, I've been to Miami many times, and the place is crawling with lovely young ladies (although not enough ladies crawling). I think most of your Florida retirees live on the west coast, and central Florida. Mary, Bull is right, it's cause of the superior shopping. Juuuuuuust kidding. According to NG, 58% of college students are women, giving most of the East's numerous college towns a female majority. After graduating, a preponderance of these women find jobs within the same city; white collar jobs are 51% female, concentrated in the big eastern cities. So says NG, and would they lie?!?!?!!??
