How about some free software for the Mac crowd? We're always so forgotten... [:(]

........well, it's not so much a 'crowd' surely?.......[;)]

Well okay, the small group of mac users huddling in the corner and sobbing because although the computer never flashes the "blue screen of death" and rarely crashes, NOTHING is compatible with it!! [&o]

Pretty much everything on the sourceforge site I posted ( iirc, osswin.sourceforge.com ) is available for, and runs on the Mac platform, too.

As opposed to spending $150 for Word that will only work on my computer until I reformat it to run SUSE Linux or Ubuntu, I downloaded ABIWORD which is an open source software that interprets, writes, etc., Microsnot Word files.

I might go with Vista if I can replace every other Microsnot program with open source.

Source code is downloadable, and my security programs dont mind.
