I think part of becoming a slave or an owner is being ready to assume that role. Have you read "SlaveCraft: Roadmaps for Erotic Servitude principles, skills and tools" by Guy Baldwin and “a grateful slave” -- it has some great advice for preparing for slavery and maintaining your slavery. How about almost anything from Jack Rinella? He lives this life 24/7 and he shares his real life experiences in almost anything he writes. Getting ready in short means clearing up your mundane life and being self-sufficient but flexible enough to move into service when you fine the opportunity. You want to be a slave in another country, then move there. Don't wait for someone to whisk you away because as you should have realized by now that isn't happening. In fact move to the state where you'd like to serve. If that isn't possible have the income set aside so that you could move and cover all your expensives at a moment's notice. Think the "owner" should cover all these costs; you'll be thinking that and being alone for a long time then. Even in the ancient world when slavery was socially, legally, and economically supported, masters did not buy slaves they didn't see. If they were visiting another city and saw a sale in the market, of course, they'd ship the slave back with them or buy transport. But they or an agent had to see them, had to touch them, had to examine them. You aren't being sold at an auction in the middle of Rome or Cairo or Athens or Babylon. That means much of the responsiblity for being ready and available will fall onto your shoulders. Much of the search for an owner will also fall onto your shoulders. The same for wouldbe masters/mistresses. If you want a slave from another country, move there or visit there for an extended period of time. Get to know people and have the funds to bring back someone should they seem like a good match.
