I would like new copies of Lois Dickey's books and would someone please make her finish the next one.   I have been trying for years, I even told her I would edit it or type it for her.   LOL  (no she isn't a relative just a friend I met on the internet)

I just noticed that I have a better library then my towns library is.

Why?   do we have any avid readers in the house?  any collectors? any particular type of books that excite you?

if i said santa is bring you some boooks, on what topic would it be?

Every topic.

I actually counted my books about a year ago.

3,771.  (That was a year ago).

And they are on every concievable subject.

I'm a book whore.

I spent $7,000.00 last year just on bookshelves.

(I love books).

I was thinking of starting a neighborhood book exchange. You know- how would I go about it?

I could put a free ad in my churches newsetter.

I have some really good stuff. gareeding books. pc repair, how to speak 51 languages, earht ships, dome homes, solar, log cabins, herbs,

It's easy.

You give books away.  Lots of them.  You hope someone gives you books back (3 to 1 would be a good thing, but highly unlikely).  If they don't (give back), it was still right.

(And it doesn't matter if they do/don't...books in the right hands are in fact, a new mind.  A book in a new hand is a new mind waiting to open).

Just make sure, in each book, before the preface, you write in each one "I gave this book to you because I wanted you to grow. Someday, when you can, you must give back.  It's up to you as to how much to give back.  What did you get?  Give at least twice that").
