I wouldn't buy/use a used suede flogger. Ideally, floggers should be for a specific person unless you are satisfied of the good health of all concerned. Non-leather tools can be cleaned in various ways including boiling in some cases. But as leather is a lot like actual skin and quite hard to clean in many cases, it's new or nothing. I certainly wouldn't use such implements obtained from strangers. Semen, blood, cunt juice, saliva, urine, feces - who knows what's on it. There's another point here too - if it's a good flogger why would anyone sell it? I have a favorite flogger with excellent balance and lovely falls that I wouldn't part with in exchange for Midas' horde. Well, maybe that... BTW, if economics is a factor try making your own stuff from leather, rope, rubber, etc. It's really not that hard. You will need simple dowling and whatever other material you have chosen at minimum. Look here for some non-standard ideas: http://www.saroftreve.com/workshop/copflog.shtml
