Status: offline 		A good number of you have seen my posts about being in a long distance relationship and things like that.  It has not been an easy road to travel, since a students schedule is never a simple thing to navigate around even face to face... so long distance has been even harder.
Well, finally, I see a light at the end of the tunnel. I have to say, working for a national chain drug store has its perks. I put in for a transfer between stores, hoping that within a few months I would be able to up and get out of Vegas and head to Nashville to be closer to Angel. I dont like it out here in Vegas, and had been thinking about where to go to get out before I met him, and now Nashville seemed like just the place to head.
I put in for the transfer Sunday Evening, I had my phone call back first thing Monday Morning and I had a position in Nashville waiting for me. Not in 2-3 months like we were prepared for, since staffing transfers can sometimes take ages.  I start there in 6-7 weeks!  Mid January.
Granted, I hate moving, and I am not lookin forward to having to do it all again... but to finally be out of here, away from my parents and with my boy... its all worth it.

Wish me luck, everyone.  I have 6 weeks to get my stuff in order, figure out what I need to take and what can stay here in storage, stuff the car and go. Angel will be waiting for me when I get there, and the store I got is walking distance from his Campus, and about 10 minutes from the apartment complex I am hoping to get into.
Once I am moved, I'll put my "positive experiences" post up, but I just wanted to get this out here before I exploded :)

Status: offline 		Good luck to you! I am  thinking about doing the move thing myself very soon, I know I am going to graduate school there next fall either way, but it maybe much sooner.

I had a great job interview I actually enjoyed this evening at a business college here, they have 6 locations in the area I will be going to graduate school in and where my Daddy is, and there are openings down there. So while I may not get the job here due to my wanting to move down south, I may be able to score a position down there very soon. And this is a kick ass job with a great starting salary, flexible schedule, bennies, and 401k... It is a career type job that promotes within to management, if I liked it a lot I could stay with it and make a 6 figure salary in a few years.

Its was so cute when I finally told him I got the transfer.  He was the last to find out, since he has that screwball schedule. He asked about every store I had considered, and I kept saying no, I didnt get teh transfer.  He thought I didnt get it and wasnt goingto, then I told him I go the one right by campus :) He squeaked.  I love it.
Thank you all for the well wishes, I wil probably be a happy little ball of moving stress for a while.

Status: offline 		OK, why is it when everything else has worked out so perfectly theres one damn little thing that just WONT cooperate?
The apartment complex hasnt called me back.  And now, to make sure Angel doesnt have to worry about being reported to the people at school for "inappropriate behavior" I have to try and make sure I am in a different building than his friend.  Always someting!
