I'm pretty sure I'm right about the dogs, and I can't find a profile (and thus a message box) for nohalo, so I'm gonna take the plunge and post a new quartet.

NEW QUARTET:

Alexander the Great
Julius Caesar
Napoleon Bonaparte
Gustave Flaubert

(Bonus poiints if you ID the odd one out.)

All were europians who travelled to Egypt.

Gustav is the odd one out as he was never a political leader nor has he ever had a drink named after him.

No kidding?! Actually, what I had in mind was that they were all epileptics, but since you found a common thread, please post a new quartet.

Flaubert was the odd one out, since he wasn't a conqueror.
