and the Asa were the Gods, hence the spelling.

this won't help THAT much here, though!

but maybe if I reference a certain asshole Trickster whom had a name taloned into his back... an asshole messing with a necklace of the Brisings...

again, not literally, just saying he might trick you into guessing correctly...

Aesir (Asians, which is where they thought they came from, there it is the latin AE) or Asa. But now dwarves and giants, and Loki. Uhhhhhhh, let me think on this.

Could it be something as simple as the locations in which certain Marvel stories are set?

spiceguy2009 -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (10/15/2009 10:27:38 AM)

Thor

ThatDamnedPanda -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (10/16/2009 12:14:18 AM)

Last night the question was, "does Hiltie ever sleep?" Tonight, the question seems to be, "will he ever wake up?"

HatesParisHilton -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (10/16/2009 2:41:46 AM)

LOL

remember, I am 17 hours ahead of SF and LA...  bad time differential.

it's 8:40 as I type this...

"Could it be something as simple as the locations in which certain Marvel stories are set? "

no, after having my previous ones parsed so quickly, and al the MATH AND GEOGRAPHY, no dammit!  LOL

"THOR?"

Thor is a PART of it and a clue, but only partly a clue, and only for a time in which the timeless was portrayed...

LanceHughes -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (10/16/2009 7:32:28 AM)

All terms in the "Unauthorized Chronology of the DC Universe"

1940's South Pacific - Bored millionaire Oliver Queen is thrown overboard from his yacht in the South Pacific.

Aesgard
Manhattan
Atlantis

Damn!  Having trouble bringing in other quotes.  MUST go to work!  See y'all later this afternoon.  If I win, hiltie, I promise NO math or geography.  Maybe something like chemistry. <EVIL, evil grin>  No, I'm not really that mean - maybe something far afield from my expertise..... I'll try to make one at work <Shhhhhh!>

HatesParisHilton -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (10/16/2009 7:55:22 AM)

[:o]

sadly no, kinda on the right track...  but just so it doesn't go on for ooooodles, the answer DOES have to do with Marvel...

sorry Lance!

spiceguy2009 -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (10/16/2009 8:22:57 AM)

spiceguy2009 -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (10/16/2009 8:32:17 AM)

Stanley Lieber (Stan Lee)made his comic-book debut with the text filler "Captain America Foils the Traitor's Revenge" in Captain America Comics #3 (May 1941)

fluffypet61 -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (10/16/2009 8:36:42 AM)

HatesParisHilton -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (10/16/2009 9:15:31 AM)

tell ya what, ask a media question and you can still go next!

fiction lit counts as media for me...  as does myth...

mnottertail -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (10/16/2009 9:19:02 AM)

nope, I have abridged my rights to post commonalities here, most of the time, I am so poor at it.

ok, here goes.

58,59,60,61....

Look in the natural world for your answer, not in math or geography or history, but more everyday......

Ron
