Yes you got it fluffy! You get to do the next quartet.

I figured if I pointed to my pic
<------------
it would be way too easy.

I LOVE clouds!!!   And rain, fog, storms of all kinds....

Here are the links for more info and pics of these types of clouds:

fluffypet61 -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (4/19/2009 5:14:50 PM)

Fern
Cross
Tent
Gobelin

dreamerdreaming -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (4/19/2009 5:18:35 PM)

Thats a tough one!

Stitches?

Stakes?

Trolls?

fluffypet61 -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (4/19/2009 5:25:01 PM)

It's one of those - although i was looking for a little more specific answer.

dreamerdreaming -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (4/19/2009 5:32:04 PM)

Embroidery stitches?

Stakes that hold things in the ground?

Strange lil' creatures?

pissthirstysub -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (4/19/2009 5:45:33 PM)

needlepoint stitches

fluffypet61 -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (4/19/2009 5:50:52 PM)

pissthirsty, that was the answer i was looking for - your turn.

pissthirstysub -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (4/19/2009 6:05:42 PM)

Semiramis
Dido
Cleopatra
Achilles
Honestly, I like to solve them more then come up with new ones.

dreamerdreaming -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (4/19/2009 6:58:54 PM)

This one was so tough I had to google it. They were all in hell, in Dante's Inferno, because they were overcome by lust, in their lives.

dreamerdreaming -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (4/20/2009 8:51:34 AM)

Mmkay, I take it that's the win. New quartet:

What do these four things have in common?

  Stellar Plates
   Fernlike Stellar Dendrites
   Bullet Rosettes

  Hollow Columns

fluffypet61 -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (4/20/2009 9:04:14 AM)

Well, i know dendrites are parts of nerves, but knowing the history of this poster's previous quartets - i bet it is something to do with weather.

pissthirstysub -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (4/20/2009 10:05:08 AM)

snow!

dreamerdreaming -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (4/20/2009 2:03:30 PM)

Fluffy you were on the right track- pissthirstysub you got it! They are all different types of snowflakes! I LOVE snow!

The link below shows photgraphs of  a bunch of the more common types of snowflakes, and it also has drawn tables of them. The page also has links for a guide to frost, or to learn about the physics of snowflakes, or to learn how to do some snowflake activities- such as how to preserve them in superglue or acrylic!

Take it away, pissthirstysub!

pissthirstysub -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (4/20/2009 3:26:44 PM)
