quote:
ORIGINAL: dreamerdreaming Musicians who have all played with the Beatles. Or maybe who all played live with them. Or maybe who all played with them on the album Let It Be, or maybe its more specific: the song All You Need is Love, from Let It Be. Off the top of my head that's the best I can do. Not gonna google it. You don't have to, that's close enough. Musicians who performed uncredited on Beatles albums. I was afraid that the first real Beatles fan that wandered in would get it, but was hoping that Brian Jones might throw a few people off, because very few fans know he sat in on some early Beatles sessions. Most people know Clapton did the guitar solo on "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" (and John Lennon even proposed him for membership when George Harrison stormed off and said he was quitting the band), Billy Preston played on so many Beatles' songs he was nicknamed "The 5th Beatle", and I think a fair number of people know that Donovan sang on "Yellow Submarine", but I've never met anyone who knows that Brian Jones played saxophone on "You Know My Name (Look Up The Number)". Good job!
