I don't think anyone's going to get this, so I'll start throwing out some help to go along with the other clues I gave earlier. There is a 5th person who technically could go on this list; his name is Marcel Dionne. But the other 4 are the only ones who are undisputed members of this group.

Well, not really. But what they all did in relation to Gretzky, one of them did do in junior hockey. The re-ordering of the list is an important clue. Edit: And don't lose sight of what I said about Marcel Dionne.
