I'm a sub and dont like hoods as I tend to get a little claustrophobic, but having said that I am willing to try to wear one occasionally for short periods in order to please my my Master.

I do not mind wearing them aslong as my nose or mouth are not covered as I have asthma and being fully covered and tied up gives the fear of an asthma attack as I am not in control of my breathing. I don't know if other asthmatics feel the same though..

For some reason this is a HUGE fear of mine one that as of yet Master hasnt felt the need to push.. Heck after reading a story about a Lady getting stuck in a metal hood I couldnt sleep for days and Master had to calm me down!! I dont know why it is such a big fear but Im also almost as equally (Not quite) as afraid of Dom/mes that wear them though they arent as scary as haveing to wear one myself they still make me panic!!! I dont know why.

Oh I like blindfolds they are fine and fun sometimes because loosing that sence lets me focus more on Master and what he is doing we have even used ear plugs and a bilnd fold though that paniked me a little.. I am just scared of hoods!!

Hoods as part of sensory deprivation play can be fun I suppose.. though generally I'm not too hot on the idea of objectification, and imo completely covering someone's head adds to that. I'd rather just be blindfolded or just be able to see exactly what he's going to do with me ^_^

Never tried either, but LOVE the idea.  Love not knowing what's coming next.  Needs to be a certain level of trust though.  For instance, this game wouldn't get played with someone new with whom one was not totally familiar.

I have worn blindfolds but I don't think I would like wearing a hood. For whatever reason, I don't find them very attractive and I think I would feel ugly in one. I would try one, if my dominant wanted, and probably if he enjoyed it enough to praise my appearence in one then I would change my mind about it. So... I guess the answer is no with provisions. *Grnis*.

Yes, I like them.
I have a new one that I ordered a few months ago , it's electric blue and has breathing holes in the front of it and a locking buckle in the back, no eyeholes. And it smells great too. New leather.
My former sub up North liked them too.
I'd tie her over the kitchen table, legs spread wide and she'd be in high heels, stockings and garterbelt.
I'd put ear plugs in her ears, gag her with a penis gag, and put the hood on her with her wrists either tied behind her or to the table legs outstretched.
She had a nice ass and I really enjoyed looking at it!

As another asthmatic who is also, to a degree, claustrophobic, hoods are a limit for me. That may change in the future, but not anytime soon. It would bring on an asthma attack and I don't want that.

I only wore one once and for some reason I started crying and he had to take it off.  It may have been feeling so ugly and anonymous in it, or it may have been that I was going through a rather difficult time in my life.

I'm personally a bit frightened (okay, scared quite a lot) by them. I don't like the idea of having no face to another person, and, well...I'm glad I have a Dom who likes to see me! The anonymity turns me off a bit- I like to know that the other person is able to see me if I am in distress, since it shows on my face when I can't get the words out and he uses this to check in during intense scenes, when my words may feel a little difficult to get out.
Then again, I'm also pretty nervous about being gagged, and I'm sure that limit will eventually be pushed...but I really hope the hood one never is.

I only recently started to have hoods used on me. It was a huge fear of mine. But the Dom I was playing with likes to push me in those areas and I trust him and know I am safe with him and that if it is to much he will back off. That being said I love how helpless they make me feel...I still find them scary for that reason...yet I love the state of mind they put me in.

I have never worn a hood, but have worn a gas mask that had covers for the eyes.  I loved the sensory deprivation of it, and the mental bondage it induced.  I was sitting in a chair, two people topping me with breath play and light caning, and until my hand jerked up, (don't remember the reason), I felt as if I was bound to that chair even though there were no ropes.  I think a hood for me would have similar affects and would love the experience. 

There is also the change in the creativity of the mind when senses are taken away to force you to focus on things you wouldn't focus on as directly. 

I give it a thumbs up!!!

My hands and other body parts often speak louder then anything as far as being able to watch how I am doing, but that is would more then likely make a great new thread if someone felt the urge,

Have not worn one yet so actually have no true idea what it would be like. The mental picture does not appeal to me though as i think i'd freak if i couldn't breathe really well. In terms of not knowing what's coming next - i love that, but a blindfold does the trick. Master is quite sensual in His play so it's not something i'm anticipating He will require. If He did, i would at least be willing to try to serve Him in this manner, but don't think it's something i would enjoy in the least. *fingers crossed*.

i have asthma and wear hoods from time to time with no problem, the only time i have had a problem with them is when i was having a hot flash, my head tends to get extremely hot and i start dripping sweat, so i asked to have it taken off so that i wouldn't pass out from the heat. Otherwise, it is not a problem.
