lol nah thats not a bad day, try climbing into a taxi and relising that you have left your handbag (with wallet and keys in the house) and having to get the taxi driver to break in cause you aren't tall enough to reach..... ahhhhh that was a fun day lol

I lost power here this morning from about 6:45 til ten minutes ago. I hate that. No power means no water. Gonna go take a shower now.

I'm sorry for the tragedy you are experiencing. Ok, maybe not that sorry...there is no caffeine in my world and I've never like coffee anyway, so I can't relate. But, it sounded good to support your addiction. *chuckle*

Oh myyyyyy, I am so glad I have never experienced anything resembling that one!

As for the coffee pot, always keep a spare! I only drink coffee on the weekends now but if I couldn't make it, I would miserable. Fortunately I am resourceful. Just put the same amount of water and coffee in a saucepan on the stove, bring to a boil, strain out the grounds, voila' coffeeeeeeeeee!!!!

Lucky for me, I have two backup coffee makers... one electric and one non-electric, all assembled back in the days when I was still a caffeine addict. But I still enjoy a large mug of organic decaf every morning. So it's unlikely that my day will ever start out badly, without coffee.

But even after several attempts this morning, I haven't been able to get into the other side to retrieve my mail. All I get is a blank white screen, with an indication that it's done loading. I've already tried rebooting, and starting over, but that hasn't worked either.

It's a bit frustrating.

Are there any techies among us here?
