Hi All

I had considered myself independent until King George came to power, and he drew the line in the sand with the republicans, and his "with us or against us" attitudes.  Well if those are my choices, I am against you.  Until the moderates take power again I have to help push away from the extreme right.

No choice allows someone else to have your voice, I hope you trust them.   If I am knocking at your door tomorrow with the "get out the vote" drive, please be nice =)

Parties are an artifact of our adversarial model of government, which presumes that most decisions are black or white and that a proposition (legislation) will either win or lose. It does not encourage subtlety or consensus and lends itself to deal making and posturing.

Until such time as we devise new ways of governing ourselves (and such methods are available) parties will be a self-justifying necessity.

I'm starting the British Revolutionary Communist Party For An Islamic National Socialist Republic.
I need motivated members but also need as big an appeal as possible you see.
Do you think this might catch on?

Do you think Tony might be interested?  I hear he is going to be looking for a job soon :)

Nah. I think he might have a consultancy for Halliburton in the pipeline. Either that or mucking out the stables on a ranch somewhere in Texas........
