OK as I have said befor my Master is a switch, any way saterday night we were at a halloween party at paddles and after we had our scene I thought it would be nice if Master could find a Mistress to play with as he hasnt bottomed in a long time and I knew he needed to. So since Master is very shy about beeing a sub I did the durty work and respectfully asked a Domme if she would please scene with my Master as he is a switch, and she agreed. Now I know I wasnt jelouse I know that wasnt it but I felt protective like a momma bear protecting her cub and the entire time she spanked him I watched like a hawk and when she was done I was the one that ran to get the water and yes I gave him after care in fact i think I became even more clingy to him after his scene then after mine!!!!

Whats up with that??? I mean I loved that Master got what he needed and that I could help him with that even though Im 100% slave (when it comes to our relationship)and could never Domme him I was glad to help him find someone he could sub too. So why did I feel so protective??

Some reasons I can think of:
1) Because you didn't want him to be harmed; in a lot of ways, that's part of your service. I'm betting that you feel you're the first line of defense if he were attacked.
2) Because, in some ways, you feel he belongs to you. He's YOUR Master, after all. ;-)
3) Because someone you love/care for was showing their vulnerable side. That'd make ME feel protective.

The thing that you have to do is not try and not intrude on what the Mistress wants/needs to do. A lot of us feel the need to give our own aftercare...it's aftercare for us.

Thank you MissFire, I did try not to intrude it was only after the Mistress left and I knew she wasnt going to offer him any aftercare that I swooped in I knew Master wouldnt want me stepping on any toes and i didnt want to ruin anything for my Masters enjoyment of the scene. But i had seen this Mistress play befor and she doesnt really stick around after she is done!!!

What makes you think you shouldn't be protective? We protect the things and people we cherish. It's not a master or slave thing- it's a taking care of the things you cherish thing.

No I have watched her play and she is very good at what she does. She is just not big on the aftercare thing but I knew that I would be there for my Master that and Master had seen her play too and had said he watned to play with her he just wanted me to be the one to ask her to play... again that is Masters porogative to have the slave to the work, that was just him getting into my head a little too.

Ohh, i could see picking that Mistress for exactly that reason... knowing She probably wouldn't offer much in the after care area would give slave the opportunity to do that. Ss i've mentioned before, my Master Tops at His home dungeon frequently, and i have no problems with enjoying the fact that He gets to do that. but the whole aftercare stuff... i want that to be a black hole i know nothing about. Aftercare seems to be to be the intimacy i don't like to see shared if i cannot be there to partake.

Hmmm i hadn't thought of that mavis Hon but then again my subconscience tends to run a muck when Im not looking, so this deffinetly could have played into it!!!

i came back because i really didn't word that right... it seems as if i am saying that's why you did.. instead of, if it had been me.. Now, if you consider it and it seems to be a possibility, cool, but i do apologise for implying i knew your motives or intent. that's really classless and insensitive, not usually my style.

(since i've had my topping from the bottom post for the week, can this work as my first "topping from the side" thingie? )

no worries Mavis... I understood what you were saying and it is a definet possability that even though I didnt realise I was doing that it may very well have factored into my thinking without me knowing it and I thank you for bringing it up so I can be more aware!!

Agreed. I have never done a scene with someone and then had them disappear or be whisked away without some period of mutual reassurance. I think I would find that traumatizing, most likely--I can't speak for anyone else, but sometimes I have to go pretty far out on a limb to do some of the things that need doing, in dom-space. It's very important to re-connect to the bottom as a person...ideally a very happy and satisfied person...

It was a natural reaction, I'm sure, and perhaps not wrong for you and your partner. If the domme took it well, that is good. I was just imagining myself in her position and wincing a bit. But since you approached her in the first place, and she knew you and her bottom had a deep relationship, it was probably not a big deal...

Well Miss I didnt actually aproach Master again untill she had left him I dont know what they did in the few minuts I ran to that bar to get him a water all I saw was befor i left was them shakeing hands and when i got back with the water Master was fixing his pants and she was off talking to some friends.
