Check back after he wins some playoff games.

Terrible parameters to measure a QB's talents, only slightly better than Super Bowls.

Trent Dilfer > Dan Marino?

I like to see how a QB can handle the high pressure of playoff games.

It's certainly not valid as a singular, or even primary, determinant of a quarterback's overall worth, but it does have some value. A quarterback's ability to lead his team to success in high-pressure playoff games against quality opponents is a valid tool in measuring where he stacks up against other quarterbacks of similar stature. Brett Favre's miserable 4-7 postseason record in the last 13 years of his career is a big factor in keeping him off of my Top Ten of all time list, for example. Too many times, when the pressure was on, he folded.

Contrast that with players like Tom Brady, Joe Montana, Bart Starr, and even Terry Bradshaw, who sometimes took their  teams and drove them to championships simply by sheer force of will. Favre can have his stats and his regular-season records, but when you're 6 points down with a minute and a half to go in the Super Bowl, give me Brady or Starr any day.

Glad the Saints were sent home. Am I the only one tired of all of this moronic "Who Dat" bullshit?

WTG Seahawks !!

That was a great game. Huge upset. I've always been a closet Seahawks fan.

I was pulling for them in the SB against the Steelers. < ducks and covers from Katy >

Next up Colts and Jets. It's going to be hard to beat the excitement of the NFC WC game. I'm pulling for LAM's Jets in the next game.

Ok, who told the Seahawks today was game day?    The brought their A moves, finally.

It's pretty sad when all the PNW'rs are shocked as hell.. a nice surprise, but totally unexpected. :)

Mascots are weird.  Was talking to happypervert earlier in the week about the Stanford Tree!

Yeah, what's up with that tree. Reminds me of a really bad disco dress from the 80's. WOW ! Happypervert, haven't seen him in ages.

Lisa: I'm thinking the Bears. I would say they're going to have atough time with both teams, but they played like a house of fire today.

Sad news for Raven's Ed Reed. I don't know how something like this can not affect his play tomorrow.

"Meanwhile, the search for his missing brother near New Orleans was called off.

Reed younger brother, Brian Reed, jumped into the Mississippi River on Friday to elude police. Reed's mother, Karen Reed, told Louisiana reporters Saturday that Brian Reed's jacket and shoes have been found by authorities."

Mike Holmgren didn't snub Jim Brown. Jim Brown snubbed the Cleveland Browns.

Congrats to LAM and his Jets !

Looking forward to a rematch at Gillette next week. Should be a fun week. AFC East rivals fighting it out for the Championship game.

I wonder if he was holding his rabbit's foot for Nick Folk's kick.

Tony Dungy said that if the Colts had run the ball and kicked a FG, the JETS have much less time to work with -- and so the game was decided on the Colts 3rd down and six play.

Its quite a feet holding the Colts to 16 points in IND.

Now Rex Ryan runs into the NE steam roller. If BAL wins its BAL v. PITT. That's two division bloodfests.

What a close game.  Usually the Jets lose when Sanchez turns the ball over, and at halftime I had little hope that they were going to turn it around.  The ground game finally did get going, but if it weren't for Cromartie's crazy return, or maybe just ONE of those stops on third-and-1, the Jets may well have lost this one.

Good win on the road. As it seems you're not up for task, I'll do it:

JETS! JETS! JETS! GO JETS!

I think the Ravens will handle KC as BAL has not lost to an inferior / lesser team all year. BAL's losses have been v. NE, PITT, ATL. The only hiccup was CIN. BAL also held the lead v. NE, PITT, and ATL in the 4th QTR but managed to lose.

Ray Rice will have a big day, and so will Ed Reed.
