2- Suspending a punter < Pat McAfee > for swimming while intoxicated < SWI > just doesn't make sense to me. SWI isn't even a crime. So what ? The drunken idiot took a dive into a filthy canal... waking up with all that grime on you is plenty punishment enough.

If you look back during the off season and heading into training camp the Colts have had several players with alcohol related problems.

The punter just got strung up as an example that the Colts have had enough.

I recall the Colts, at one time, having an idiot kicker who got all liquored up and ran off his mouth.

sigh, Steelers start it with a turnover on a kickoff return.  May be a long day.

LOL@Katy... I was going to say the same thing about ole " liquored up " Vandy. I loved it when Manning called him out on it.
Now THAT was a priceless kicker !

That was good times, indeed.

The Steelers received a gift today.  I highly doubt they recovered that end zone fumble.

Yup, but you take takem when you getem.

We s-q-u-e-a-k-e-d a win today. Our offense was pathetic. But I do think our D is coming along, which I had little faith in at the beginning of the season.

The Ravens are not looking like a SB contender, and predicting who makes the SB this year looks like a real crap shoot.

LaM must be juked about the JETS, who with the Steelers are looking like the class of the AFC.

Anybody here wanna buy a worthless football team that is headquartered in Denver?  I'm afraid that mentioning its name might trigger a curse at this point...

Watching Favre walk off the field at Lambeau, barring a longshot playoff tilt, most probably for the last time was truly special. No doubt at all what former teamates think of this guy....and I know the retire/unretire thing has been getting tiring....but still....the guy is a gamer,

Brett Favre is the most overrated player in the history of football. Any position, any league, any level.

Looks like it is over for Dallas now.  Not that there was any great hope for them this season.  They showed graphics about how the Giant defense has injured a lot of players this season.  Beware and be warned.  I feel bad for the Cowboy rookie who missed his assignment, that has to be a horrible feeling.  Maybe the Giants are the best team in the NFC, thoughts?  That seems to be the thought all of the analysts are sharing.

Yes, the Giants have looked good recently, but they looked horrible in the two games that they lost.  So I'm not signing that petition quite yet.  The Falcons are good too, and it's too soon to count out the Saints.  In fact, I wouldn't count out my preseason pick, the Packers.  There's plenty of time for teams to turn it around.

Edited to add: With a healthy Vick and DeJax, I think the Eagles could beat anyone in the NFC too.

Get it!  Steelers not on until 8pm,  I do not expect Drew Brees to continue sucking, should be a good game.

Jus watched Randy's presser....... still have mad Randy love. I have this twisted thought that Randy will be back in NE next year. Kinda like the whole trade thing is a conspiracy experiment.

PS: maybe I had a few too many Ms Guillicudy's... then again.... maybe not.

I saw nothing but Patriot love for Randy, from Kraft & Brady, I guess all of that beard/hair stuff is done and over.

Looks like major fun times Halloween party central in New Orleans.

Well I've figured out the New York Jets.  When Mark Sanchez doesn't throw interceptions, they're Super Bowl contenders.  When he does, they're a mediocre team.  Now the only trick is to figure out when he's not going to throw interceptions...
