Yeah, it's bizarre; he tried out for the show maybe two years ago, failed the physical, now I suppose he got into better shape, and made it. He supposedly loves the show.

So sad: Coach Cowher's wife died far too young.

One has to wonder what they are thinking there...the team has a rich history of bad actors in the locker room, and unlike the old Oakland Raiders no success to show for it.
Why import another headache?

Ohh Lance.. you have good taste. I may not like TO much, but I sure like watching his muscles move when you see him working out.The first time I saw the clip of him in his Philly driveway doing sit ups, I didn't even hear what he said. Too busy watching the abs and pecs.

This is at least the 6th time in the last 4 years he's said he's done. I'll believe it when he's dead, and even then not until I've had a chance to poke the body with a fork to make sure it isn't still twitching.

Give him time.....it's not easy to find a compact lightweight walker that won't interfere with his off balance throwing style.

That hype has dominated the local news here (I'm 30 miles from Green Bay) and pretty much nobody believes it (yet). We will believe it when the first regular game is played and even then he might wait until mid-season. He'll get the itch while watching the games and saying "I'm better that that young weenie-armed QB, they'd be winning if I was there".

Can you imagine the hatred Minnesota fans will feel for him if he doesn't play?

I did hear that his wife re-upped her membership at a Minnesota gym for another year, either that was rumour, or ?

I'll believe it when he is not under center for the first game.

I always thought this was a bad move for the Vikings.  It could only work out if they won the Super Bowl.  Much better would have been finding a good young quarterback who could develop and play for years with AP and Harvin.  Instead they wanted to win right now.  I thin they set themselves back for the next 3 or 4 years.

Very possibly true; I think they should have used their second pick to grab Colt McCoy. Now, I don't blame them for getting Favre, or trying to win immediately, but don't screw up your future over it.

mbmbn - I wish I was delicate.  There is no way a girl who is 5'9" can ever be delicate.  Amazonian, yes.

I will believe precious retires when I see him NOT suited up.
