It looked close, do you think it would've been reversed?

kittiekatt -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/12/2008 5:47:20 PM)

No, because they need conclusive evidence. It was to close to tell.

No, it was too close, Katy.

That may have been the Jags high water mark in this game, though; the Pats are on fire now.

KatyLied -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/12/2008 5:53:51 PM)

Yeah, you may be right about the high water mark.
I also think that the ruling on the field would not have been overturned.  I think it was smart not to waste a time out by challenging.  But it was so nice added drama.

Maybe Del Rio will don a suit in an attempt to fire his troops up at the half...... [sm=applause.gif]

Domiguy must have had multiple orgasms watching GB disassemble SEA.

Must say, I was FUCKING IMPRESSED!! That's the best QB performance I've seen in quite some time.

GB really stuffed the run, too --- Siragusa style.

Level -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/12/2008 6:08:11 PM)

We spoke too soon, Katy! 14-14

cb, I wonder if having Siragusa roaming the sidelines inspired the Pack D? [X(]

KatyLied -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/12/2008 6:34:51 PM)

This is a great game.  Kudos to Jacksonville, and yes, Jack, sans suit.

Level -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/12/2008 6:38:42 PM)

Speaking of suits, Coach Cowher is not looking right in the blue shirt/brown jacket combo [8|]

Shannon Sharpe, is, as usual, stylin'.

KatyLied -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/12/2008 6:43:11 PM)

Yeah, if only he could speak clearly...

kittiekatt -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/12/2008 7:58:35 PM)

Grats Patriots. Highest Completion percenage in nfl history. I hate the Pats. But they did good none the less.

Go Giants andddd Colts tomorrow.

KatyLied -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/12/2008 8:06:46 PM)

It looks like the Pats are poised to make some even more serious entry into the record books.

cloudboy -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/12/2008 9:13:41 PM)

I think the Colts defense will better match up v. Patriots b/c its built on speed.

Still, NE looks just flawless. A bad drive for them is a FG, whereas for the rest of the league its a punt.

Lordandmaster -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/12/2008 9:57:33 PM)

Yes, they're a great team, but this was a home win against a team they were supposed to beat convincingly.  Let's not start sucking their dicks just yet.

cloudboy -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/12/2008 10:11:59 PM)

JAX played a nearly perfect game, albeit the defense was too porous. Randy Moss seemed to just hang around and play the decoy to such great effect that everyone else was open and Maroney had abundant running room.

I felt Gerrard represented himself well.

Brady's bomb off a busted screen pass was the nail the coffin.
