Football in the snow is cool.  Actually football played in the elements is cool.

I don't think Packer great Forrest Gregg would disagree.... [X(]

NEW YORK (AP) -- Players entering their 10th season, coming off a major injury and in the midst of a position change rarely make an impact.

Greg Ellis made a major impact for the Dallas Cowboys at outside linebacker and on Saturday was voted The Associated Press 2007 NFL Comeback Player of the Year.

Neither one of these teams is just gonna roll over and play dead here today. It's still early, and it seems like they've been playing all day!

The Packers have over 200 yards rushing, to Seattle's 20..... Ryan Grant has proven to be a find for GB, and I wonder if Shaun Alexander's career is on the downhill side.

kittiekatt -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/12/2008 4:21:05 PM)

So you guys know, Grant WAS a backup in the CFL a while back. Who knew? :P

Level -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/12/2008 4:22:55 PM)

kittie, they find a jewel in the rough every once in awhile [:D]; Kurt Warner was an Arena League QB before making it with the Rams.

And let's not forget Warren Moon.

kittiekatt -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/12/2008 4:24:56 PM)

:o did you just call CFL "the rough? " *gasps*

I like the CFL! ^.^

Anyway, grats to Packers. Now... hmmm... Go Jags!

Sanity -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/12/2008 4:28:40 PM)

heh, you WONDER? i think he clearly has nothing left! seattle would've run much more effectively this year if they gave more carries to maurice morris.

i don't think i've ever even seen a CFL game, tbh. :[

kittiekatt -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (1/12/2008 5:24:21 PM)

CFL Is a different game. It's good.
