The Broncos suck now.  I've not watched any of their games.  Is it Jay Cutler?  Perhaps now they wish they'd kept Plummer for this season.

It's not just Cutler, it's the whole team. The D, which I thought would be vastly improved, really isn't. I don't see them enough to pinpoint anything, but they seem to be hanging on by their fingernails most weeks.

IRVING, Texas (AP) - Suspended defensive tackle Tank Johnson practiced with the Dallas Cowboys for the first time Friday, disappointed that commissioner Roger Goodell didn't shorten his eight-game ban but glad to be back on the field.
Johnson was signed by Dallas after getting cut by the Chicago Bears and can't play in a game until Nov. 11 against the New York Giants. He said he'd hoped Goodell would agree to shorten his suspension for violating probation on a gun charge to six games, but will settle for the three weeks of practice he was granted.

The Broncos always used to have great defence. Last year they were like 2nd in TDs allowed or something.. and they got Drew Bly.. and didn't really lose anyone.. and now their run defence is horrible.

They went 2-0 the first two weeks, and beat Buffalo and someone else i cant remember by 1 point both times, by a last second field goal. Teams we should of crushed. And then San Diego, etc beat us, and we're 2-3 now. And we have Pitsburgh tomorrow.

The defense is surprising, in a bad way. I really thought they'd make a serious run at the SB, and of course, they still might.

Again, I didn't mean to say you shouldn't start a thread of your own.

Look for Pittsburgh to the run the ball down your throat.  I'm looking forward to watching that game, although I agree that Denver is not the adversary it was a few seasons ago.

I read that Trent Green is injured reserved and out for the season.  The docs will not release him.  I think it's a sigh of relief, would sort of like to see him retire and not endanger himself further.

That's what he gets for trying to chop block. I like him but that was dumb on his part. He shouldn't risk himself getting hurt like that especially when hes had concuscions.

And yea, not to mention that Casey Hampton, Troy, and Hines Ward are all back for us -_- *pouts*

Let's hope that C. Hill can help get this kid on the straight and narrow. He should be a great addition if he can behave himself. With Freg on IR we need the depth on the point. Tank was an awesome run stuffer. And to be able to use J Rat as end backup is a big need.
We still need another cover corner to stop the three plus receiver sets. the zone D was blistered by NE and teams like the Colts will do the same thing.

And was it ever obvious that Terry Glenn is missed to stretch these D's like NE....

Let's hope that ex QB (Stanbeck) learns quick so he is able to be the speed WR we need.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Max McGee, the unexpected hero of the first Super Bowl and a long-time challenge for Hall of Fame coach Vince Lombardi, died Saturday after falling from the roof of his home, police confirmed. He was 75.

Police were called to the former Green Bay receiver's Deephaven home around 5:20 p.m., Sgt. Chris Whiteside said. Efforts to resuscitate McGee were unsuccessful.

McGee was blowing leaves off the roof when he fell, according to news reports. A phone message left at a number listed for an M. McGee wasn't immediately returned.

Boomer Esaison said the Pats might go undefeated....... I'm beginning to wonder if they may indeed?

And that's just for the first half.  You almost have to feel sorry for Miami at this point.

Almost
