cheaters vs. team that fires a 14-2 coach.

The cheaters won. And it was a nice little ass whoopin. And this cheater's fan is going to sleep very nicely tonight. [:D] I enjoyed the signs and costumes of my fellow cheater's fans tonight. At least we have a sense of humor and can find some humor in all this.

Martyball is looking a bit more respectable in the shadow of Norv Turner, who forgot LT drives the BOLTS to victory.

Interesting bit of trivia for you cloudboy:
Neither Cleveland nor Kansas City improved after firing Marty, and I don't see the Chargers improving any this year. Meaning imroving last years 14-2

Congrats to Katy, Level, and DG on nice wins today. And Caitlyn too, I believe she is a Dallas fan, but more a college fan. Indy looked a little shaky today, with the exception of Sanders. He had a solid performance.

I love the way that mbmbn hangs out with fans from the opposing teams.

I love meeting fans of other teams and offering them a little New England pre game and post game hospitality.
Had a nice meet and greet with a few SD fans. Nice folks, good sense of humor and savvy fans. I didn't go to the game, so I will catch up with them on the boards later, it must have been a miserable evening for them. [&:] We all expected a closer game.

The Pats looked great last night.
There were a lot of close games yesterday and some OT's as well.

NE looks like a juggernaut. Not since the Colts undefeated season has a team looked so imposing. I'm curious if BALTO will be able to slow them down.

Should the rest of the league just hand Dallas our 6th ring now, or wait?

Say it ain't so, Eric ! Here's hoping Billick is as moral and ethical as Mangina and reports this to the Commish.

" They did an outstanding job. I credit the New York Jets. Their defensive line and linebackers did a very, very effective job of illegally simulating the snap count," Billick said. "They did it the whole game long. It needs to be caught."

You two leave Denny alone......  now that he has the Cards primed for a dynastic run.......... oh, wait a minute.........

KatyLied -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (9/17/2007 7:12:23 PM)

The Cards are now known as the Steelers West.

How did you like the Yellow Helmets?

KatyLied -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (9/17/2007 7:22:23 PM)

I didn't care much for the throwback.  Does that make me a bad fan?  I think they are wearing that stuff for one more game.  So the suffering will be shortlived.

Yes, and due to the world-wide pumpkin shortage, Jack Lambert will be making an appearance in Flagstaff next month, as a jack-o-lantern.

No, Katy, it means you have good taste! Those things are horrific.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) -- The NFL may soon find out if the New England Patriots video spying went beyond one game, and the team itself may provide the evidence.

Coach Bill Belichick said Monday he will comply with the NFL's request to provide any notes or tapes made from video recordings similar to those that drew a stiff penalty against him and the team.

"Of course," he said.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) -- Kevin Everett is showing some movement in both hands and greater strength in his leg muscles, further positive signs for the Buffalo Bills tight end following a life-threatening spinal-cord injury.

"Kevin Everett remains medically stable in the intensive care unit, and continues to make daily improvement in his neurological status," Bills doctor John Marzo said Monday in a statement released by the team.

The Tennessee Titans and Jeff Fisher have agreed on a contract extension though 2011 that will make him the NFL's second-highest paid coach.
Titans owner Bud Adams picked up the 2007 option on Fisher's contract at the end of last season, and an extension had been expected since then. Fisher said they finally worked out the last details last week.

"Never at any time was I of the opinion it was not going to get done," Fisher said Monday. "What was most important to me was the team and the players and winning games."

One thing for sure ... McNabb looks very average when he can't scramble all over and create plays.

maybemaybenot -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (9/17/2007 8:14:24 PM)

I have a sneaking suspicion that Belichick's current personal library of videos and notes is not quite as expansive as once thought. [8D]

I could be wrong.[8|]

Why don't you ask me  " Who cares " in a few weeks if they don't find anything to support the radio signals theory. You know, when yourself and all the other pundents are blabbing that he shredded the evidence ? [;)]

And naww.. I don't need them  < * * * > you can keep them. I'm sure you will put them to good use. [:)]
