G'morning all: I'm not always given to writing prose. I was waxing mellow and felt compelled to compose a short piece. It's a vision of what I see as a perfect slice of time. It's not gender specific. If you wish to share it with others, feel free. If you wish to critique it, please pass it by. It's a gift. I could find no other appropriate column, so I'll submit it here and hope it inspires someone, somewhere to keep faith. A Moment In Time. Thine eyes, pools of twilight, in darkness come. A drift of down, upon my cheek, softly rests. Words, gentle and quiet, warm my ears. The touch of a butterfly's wing could not compare, To the caress of your hand. Against the strength of your chest I rest. Within this divine circle do I rejoice. No fairer place can there be. No gift finer than the beat of your heart, Paced to my own. An embrace. May it never end. I first created it in WordPad then cut, copy, and pasted it here. Pardon if the pages scripts mangle the appearance a bit. Stay safe, play nice, & share your toys w/ others... Bella
