i cannot help it; i am laughing so hard i'm crying.  The Republicans are beside themselves over what to do about Foley, and while Speaker Hastert has said "The buck stops here", he apparently intends to continue running for re-election.  Party members are evidentially avoiding him like the plague, rofl.

What gets me is that there are perverts in both parties and when it's a Democrat, the Republicans want to hang them and anyone else in the Democratic party out to dry with them just as the Democrats are doing to the Republicans now.

It's election year bullcrap and I don't like it no matter which party is doing it to the other party - I don't care if you are conservative, liberal, moderate, republican, democrat, independent, libertarian, progressive, green, etc. - if you are messing with kids and it's disgusting and should be punished.

And for those of you that are screaming cover-up, culpability, etc. at the Republicans - the Democrats have done it in the past and both parties will do it in the future - politicians SUCK no matter which party they are from.

So drop the politics out of the mix and let's all just dis the real villian - Foley!

ToGive, there is substantial evidence -- and if i am not mistaken, Hastert has admitted this -- that the Speaker has known for years about Foley's pursuit of unmentionables.  As the Senior Member of the House, Hastert had a responsibility to stop Foley -- and instead, he ignored the problem and may have even helped Foley cover it up for awhile.  Aiding and abetting a pedophile is repugnant.

i do agree with You that each party leaps for joy when a member of the opposition gets caught with his hand in the cookie jar.  It has been that way since Washigton was president...it is human nature.

It is like the catholic scandal all over again.

Which Catholic scandal, Ron?  The Crusades?  The Spanish Inquisition?  The betrayal of Italian Jews during WW II? Please be specific, lmao.

I think he is referring to those catholic priest that played with unmentionables

This is why I'm an Independant voter.
I'm sick to death of Republicans and Democrats.
A few months ago it was Cong. Patrick "Patches" Kennedy who checked himself into alchohol rehab after smashing up his car in front of the cops but said he wasn't drinking when everyone knows he has a long history of run ins with booze and the law.
This fall send everyone in Washington a loud and clear message that we're not going to put up with all this foolishness by voting for the Third Party Candidate or at least against the in-cumbant.

The only Kennedys i still have any respect for are both dead:JFK and Robert.  The rest of the men in that clan seem to be a bunch of asswipes.  (Remembers Chappaqiddick.)

Was sad about the death of JohnJohn, though.

Pinkee, yeah JFK Jr it seemed was trying to distance himself from the rest of the family.
I believe he said of his cousins; "They're poster boys for bad behavior."
But, like the rest of them he wasn't the brightest bulb on the tree either, it took him 3 or 4 times to pass the bar exam.
Makes you "wonder" how so many of them seem to "aquire" "degrees" from accredited colleges and universities.
Of course $money$ couldn't have anything to do with it, could it?

That's good advice, and exactly what I had intended to do. Vote 3rd Party/Independent whenever possible, and when this is not possible... vote against the incumbant.

Keep in mind, however, that it's easy to say that it's time to kick these pigs at the trough in the ass to let them know that the masses have finally woken up, and that we're not swallowing their pigcrap anymore!

But here's the real problem. These p.a.t.t.s are nothing more than operatives of the powers-that-be. If the p.t.b. even gets close to feeling threatened, you can bet your house that a large-scale, calamitous event will "occur." It will be engineered by the p.t.b. for the purpose of getting us back in line. They know that food and shelter consume almost all energies and thoughts of hungry and scared people. They also know that scared and hungry people will look to the government to solve their problems.

Do you realize how easy it would be for the p.t.b. to have a nuke or two set off within our borders by "terrorists?" Or for them to create The 2nd Great Depression? Or hyperinflation to the degree of your currency having less value than toilet paper, as in 1923 Germany?

What then?

But then again, most people can't even see past the Democrat vs. Republican smokescreen, so I highly doubt that we'll see an in-depth discussion regarding taking our country back from the p.t.b. and leveling the playing field for all... [;)]

Hello pinkee,

Might want to look into the activities of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.  He appears to be escaping the asswipe curse that afflicts most of the ones still alive.

Just me, could be wrong, but there you go.

Might want to read "Confessions of an Economic Terrorist" if you feel like
learning more about who is pulling the puppet strings, as well as how it is
done.

Just me, could be wrong, but there you go.

Primarily the major shareholders of the Federal Reserve, their inner circle, and their operatives.

But you need not worry anytime soon. So far, the masses are still easily deflected by the illusions and smoke screens of the p.t.b. They are still having their way, and even gaining some momentum towards the long-term goals they've been inching towards for many decades. And their outspoken critics are still typically seen as crackpot conspiracy theorists by most. They have no reason to believe that their power is threatened at this time.

On the other hand, that Constitution really is a problemsome piece of paper... [;)]

The Federal Reserve is a governmental agency; how could it have shareholders?  Never mind the "shareholders' " "inner circle" or "operatives"?

Are you referring to the World Bank instead?  Many object to its operations, including collecting debts from third world countries.

The Federal Reserve is a quasi governmental agency. It is privately owned by elite shareholders, and it has never been audited by the United States Government!

Something is rotten in Denmark when our own government has to pay interest on money borrowed.

Why don't we issue our own money instead? Oh geez, I forgot... Lincoln and Kennedy both tried that. But they didn't live long to tell about it though. Hmm... strange coincidence.
