Could anyone please explain why such an erotic session of spanking doesn't end with a sexual encounter in most of the DVD Porn videos that are on the market these days?

My wife and I are searching to purchase some Spanking (harsh to severe) with sex thrown in. Its like I have to buy two videos one for the spanks and the other for the sex...

When looking through the thousand of titles offered on the thousand website available to purchase such material they never say.. "And this one has some sex in it"

If anyone could offer an explanation for why Spanking & Sex are combined in these videos please let me know. Cause the combine very will in my bedroom!

Oh yeah.. if someone has and DVD suggestions please let me know!

Because in the eyes of the U.S. government, it's OK to have porn (i.e., sex) videos.  It's OK to have BDSM (i.e., spanking) videos.

It's less OK to have them mixed.

To more fully explain it, at some point back in the 80's the feds decided that any bondage/SM with any penetrative sex was obscene and they would prosecute the distributors and retailers who carried such. There have been a few films made that crossed the line but by and large the seperation is unchallenged. Fashionistas from a few years back is the most recent one I noticed. IIRC it does include some spanking. I should state up front I didn't enjoy the movie because every scene involved choking/breath play which I don't care for.

My understanding bearlee is a lot like that of DomKen's.  My knowledge of the government's involvement in this dates back to the late 70's when I first noticed that spanking or BDSM videos that used to include sex play no longer did.  When I did some surreptitious research on it, I found that the esteemed members of our government had decided that it was O.K. (barely) to watch sex vids and it was O.K. (less so but still barely) to watch BDSM but of course, no one who practiced sex would ever do BDSM and of course, those who did BDSM never practiced "normal" sex and they did not want anyone getting the idea that the two could be mixed.

I have a friend that belongs to a movie site in which some pretty rough BDSM is seen on the videos along with sex...but most of these film clips come from outside the U. S..  She sends them to me...they are exciting to watch, mainly to see how others do something I might do and to see others do something I have not done and then see what kind of sexual interaction they include with it.

check sexandsubmission.com they have some of what you are probably looking for. i have a bunch of their stuff and it goes from lite to somewhat heavy. I'm sure you could order from them or just pay and download what you want.

Are you sure the ban occured in the 70's? I only started seeing adult videos in the mid 80's (being just a wee bairn back in the 70's) and there were still some vanilla movies with bondage and light kink and some bondage movies with sex then.

I would guess it is for the same reason play parties don't end in sex, which was a total anticlimax for me personally. [8D]
I also would guess it is something done by professionals who dominate/and for professionals, and in that sense, they cannot continue to sex because of the implications.   M

In my little area of the world, S/m videos with intercourse are illegal to sell. The sex stores (I worked in one) can not even ORDER these movies from out of country.

Lucky for us, there's a few places that sell 'second hand' videos.

Believe it or not and I really hate to say it.  I support the decision of the U.S. 
The reason being is that I actually dont watch much porn now but when I was
around 11-19 I couldnt get enough of it and the kinkier the better (who could have guessed)
I guess knowing this I think that if a kid got into a porn collection of all unusual sexual
stuff as apposed to vanilla it might warp them some (LOL [at myself])
I think sex and violence mix to well with young people and I know its kind of a hippie attitude
and I relise that they are mixed together in just about everything but I think it would be more
likely feeding into the freaks that would become predatiouse.  I think there is nothing that can
stop this from hapening for the most part but I think at some time you have to draw a line.
Even as I look for a partner on here I look mostly to the mental attitude of the sub and how
they feel about how they are.  In movies people dont normaly point out things like joy, trust
because its just phisical eye candy and it should be that way but think of how easy it would
be to miss interpret the stuff they would see. I dont know how many Vanilla people I have
had to pull aside and say hey... Just because someone has a whip does not mean that they have
to use it full force and just because a woman screams does not mean she is in pain.  On the other
hand I think that if I had been properly exposed to this lifestyle at a young age (like early 20's) I would have
had a much happier life but where I grew up there was nothing of this. No examples at all.

The rules must be different for male on male gay porn, because, the video I saw has some, what many, would call light S&M scenes in it.  The scenes aren't heavy duty, but there's, some bondage, slapping, captivity and forced oral scenes played out on the dvd.

Also consider for spanking purists sex isn't required as part of the scene, porn or otherwise, the spanking, the discipline being what is important.
