OK   I was sitting here listening to some albums that I have had a lot longer than I really want to say.   How many of you have favorite foreign (not from your own country) music videos that you really like?

One of my favorites, and I have seen the group perform it live is Moskau by Dschinghis Khan

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZg8WR-uyag

It was the theme song for the 1980 Winter Olympics in Moscow, you know the one that Carter wouldn't let the US go to because of the war in Afghanistan.  LOL

The group has songs dedicated to countries all over the world.   And some of the singers are still active in the business.

I have listened to some Japanese music.  ONe of the guys I worked with had it going in his office all the time and I would go over and relax and listen to it.

Tarmac is one of my favourite French groups. This is from their hit album Atelier, its not the best track on the album, its the only one I could find.

i also like rammstein a lot, but since i speak german i really don't consider it foreign music because i understand them. i don't speak much czech, but i understand some words here or there from the serbo-croatian i know.

Damn Sissify, I knew I'd eventually agree with you on something.

I'm not sure if this slips through the requirements of the OP but I would say "Pink Floyd: The Wall" is my all time favorite music video.

I'm Chilean, so all good videos I have watched would be foreign.

I like waaaay too many videos, but just to name a few:

- 'Just' by Radiohead
- 'In This World' by Moby
- 'Out of Control' by Chemical Brothers
- Etc, etc, etc...

And my today's favourite would be:

The LINK TV channel has a world music video show that is immensely entertaining. I can't remember the names of any of the bands, but my favorites mostly come from eastern Africa, Romania and India.

I have a little, itsy-bitsy thing for Luciano Ligabue and, while Certe Notti isn't the most exciting video, it makes me want to fondle him inappropriately while the wind blows in our hair.  <sigh>
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PA9VqtdT5S8

And two more from Ligabue, just because.

And on a totally different note, I am way too amused by Sin With Sebastian's Shut Up and Sleep with Me.  It was the Euro Trash song of my high school days.

I'm a big fan of UK bands and singers.

I've always liked Travis' "Why does it Always Rain On Me?"  Who can resist lead singer Fran bound and gagged in the boot of a car?

Richard Ashcroft's "A Song for the Lovers".  There's something about watching almost 6 minutes of him walking around his apartment, sititng around, and getting ready to go out...   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNnh8nszFU0
