stingy gets my attention right away I stop and focus on Master no matter what it is I was doing befor, However it doesnt usually leave a lasting reminder. Thudy on the other hand (like wooden hair brushes) Master knows are my greatest fear, they leave me sore for days if done right and to me just hurt more leaveing a lasting impression. Magik's slave

Also not a masochist but a wide-tailed flogger feels sooooo much like a good deep massage that i find myself arching into it for more and more. Guess that would make my vote for thuddy? The bruises don't bother me, i just increase my time-release vitamin C for a couple of days and cherish each bruise as a fond memory.

Now, let's bring out the rubber flogger and then, after several "owwwwwwwwwwwwwwieeeeeeee s", run the Whartenburg wheel over the reddest areas. Sensation play and sting-y all at once. ~w.e.g.~ When the ass starts to moving too much...or not enough...go back to thuddy and bring out the breadboard. Cut down now, it works really well. With some patience, I've been able to get most of my partners back to that "cruisin' state" again. Time for fun? Bring them to so they can be a participant. Now's the time to make use of my Serpent's Bite, though I can't wait to try the "Pain Stick" that someone spoke of on here. I built one based on their description and am just aching to try it on a willing backside. Once they're aware again and asking "please ...don't....stop...please don't stop, I mean....stop", then we can have some other fun. When that type of fun is done, a little more fun to get to that inner crawly state that Mavis described. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...memories.

I like stingy because it makes a sub dance so nicely. But I see a certain someone said he prefers thuddy - so, next time prepare for a few bruises on your ass, my dear! Perhaps the rubber loop toy?

Definitely an afficionado of sting here. Historically, I have found it far easier to achieve and maintain a lasting altered state when I have been the recipient of pain that stings, whereas thuddy things have tended to jar me right back into now and out of that delicious headspace that is the whole reason I enjoy BDSM in the first place. Being a fair and equitable domme, I tend to give as I've preferred to receive. Joan

Both have a draw for me as a giver. I love the reaction from a sting that brings them back into the moment, as well as the deep body moving thud that makes them have to actually wonder if they will remain upright. But my personal preference depends on mood in one mood I love the gag required to keep the teeth from clacking against each other slam of power that thuddy can give, other times I like to stalk the perfect "come back into my world" sting location. In both cases tend to send them out with thuddy rythems and then bring them back with jarring strikes of either thud or sting, providing punctuation to the scene only to watch them fly right back out there. And I can be patient sometimes and wait 30 seconds to a minute between the come back here strikes with nothing in between but just letting them ride the energy.

As a bottom I love rymthmic thud floggers are good hands are best....the harder the better; it makes me slip into a altered state and lose myself but it means I need a physically strong top for hours of thuddy spanking...but I have thought of having a nerf bat on hand for that extra omph factor As a Domme I prefer sting for all the reasons that are listed here(the squels etc) also I am not physically strong I find it easier to give stingy pain ... it seem a better effort to pain ratio if you follow me.

At first all i could take was thud. The sting from the rubber flogger would make me groan just looking at it. After a while, after my tolerance grew i began to crave the sting and would beg him to use that rubber flogger on me - if you had told me i would do this, i would have told you you were nuts lol. Thud is ok as a foreplay of sorts now - but rhythmic sting is what i crave and what brings me into and keeps me in sub space. How do you all classify the strap? To me it's stingy but in a thuddy way lol... it's one of my favorites, along with the cane. i don't tend to like the paddle as after a while it just numbs everything and its simply boring... and it leaves deep bruising, for me anyway. Tamer was right though in that a dom can use all the implements he wants but if he doesn't use his voice along with what he's doing - it's a rather flat experience.

I have never been flogged before. However, I am interested in it and would like to be. From what I've heard, thuddy sounds very interesting, but I am not sure I would like stingy. It would be neat to see the results of this thread as a poll, too, just for a general overview. :-) pup75

i would have to say the only thuddy thing i get is my Daddy's belt, if not that, it is the stingy which is with the crop or the cane, ouchy! i say i prefer Daddy's belt above all[;)] Sincerely Rybooms' lil slave
