Status: offline 		I was viewing through some Domme profiles today out of curiousity and I noticed that 95% of them live for or love female supremacy. Do a lot of dominant women dominate because they hate or want to get revenge on men?

Status: offline 		I would think that the "female supremacy stuff" functions as a myth through which both parties involved may encounter and act out their deepest desires in a place where the sorts of things they want to feel, think, say and do "make sense".

I have to disagree with you that believing or inhabiting a myth where it is accepted that one gender is superior to another does not automatically mean that the superior gender "hates" the inferior.

Female Supremacists don't necessarily hate men.  In fact, it is unusual for someone to dominate something they 'hate'.  It would be wasted time.  Much better to have some feelings for the person figuratively on their knees.

But it is true that they feel that men are inferior, that they do belong on their knees to them.

Starting with you.

Status: offline 		ummmm  well I am  one who doesnt fit into your 95% ... and most fem dominants I know of dont either ...  but even if you do believe in female supremacy that  doesnt mean you hate males

female supremacy within bdsm is a cultural idea ... just like gor  is ... Its about saying that some think,  the general female has a better idea of how to run things than the general male

Its not about hatred ... although like anything, one can subscribe to multiple ideas .... equlity and  hatred  can also go together

Many submissives like the idea of idolising their Domina .... its not wrong its just what suits them

I dont think females are superior to males... but nor do I think males are superior to females ...  but I can enjoy a  boy who thinks I am superior

Status: offline 		Well that would follow with a question, does anyone believe that "Gorean stuff"? Do the men that participate in it "hate" or "want to get revenge" on women? No! Its just a shared fantasy. I love men to bits but that doesn mean I won't tie them up and beat the crap out of them. But here is the key, ONLY IF THEY WANT ME TO! Its that whole.. consent thing that makes BDSM workable. If you find a Domme that really does hate men, or a Master that hates women, I would run in the other direction.

Status: offline 		I am an advocate for Female Supremecy becasue I honestly believe that FEmales are better able to handle things than men are.  I do not hate me, far from it.  I do believe that they tend to be too aggressive and bull headed sometimes.  My boy is a firm bleiever that women are superior to men, of his own accord, I have not forced this belief upon him.

Believing women are superior to men doesnt mean hating me, it simply means believing that women might be better suitedto be making more of the important decisions better than the men. At least, in my opinion. I speak fr no one else aside from my boy, of course.

Status: offline 		I may be wrong here... and if I am, then please correct me here, rick.  I think the point he is trying to make, is that at least 80% of the women dominants whom I have met, are rather Torture oriented, rather than sensuality/sexuality oriented.  Perhaps it is the men who want CBT, and such, but honestly, that just scares the hell out of me... you get anywhere near my nuts with a 6 inch spike, and I'm pulling out a crowbar. 

tthe point is, though... Female dominants, (most... not all) are more of an attitude (when it comes to male submissives,) of I am your queen, and you WILL lick my boots, while I torture your manhood, dress you like a girl, and parade you around as my toy.  In some eyes, one could see that as female supremacy. 

Makes for an interesting conversation...

Status: offline 		I, personally, am a genderbent female dominant.  But my leather family and friends are people of all orientations and lifestyles.  Some of them are male dominant, some are female dominnt, some are gay, bisexual or transgender.   I respect and support my friends and their orientations and lifestyles as they respect and support mine. 

I tend to lose patience pretty quickly with supremacists of either gender, because they are inherently showing disrespect and disregard for people I care about.  I will defend my male dominant friends quite vigorously if they are insulted or dismissed because of their gender.  Their lifestyle deserves respect and consideration just as ours does.  I don't see female supremacy as being much different from gay bashing, if you get right down to it.  You're basically telling all of the people for whom it is right and natural to live in a lifestyle different from yours that they're doing it wrong.  That's rude at best and bigoted at worst.

Status: offline 		I think females are superior to males in several ways, as males are superior to females in many ways.  These (typical) differences actually enhance the power exchange between consenting adults. 
Perhaps since you hear the word "supremacy" you equate it with "superiority" and it has a sexist connotation that suggests that the top would hate the bottom.  This is not the case at all. 
 
I personally do not identify as a female supremacist, however, every femdom I know cares deeply about her subs/slaves/inferiors.  (I say "inferiors" with my tongue planted firmly in my cheek, btw)...

Yes, all that is good fun with a consenting submissive.  But the key here is consenting.  It would be pretty silly of me to insist on doing this to ALL men, regardless of whether they identified as gay, straight, dominant, non-kinky, etc.   Kinky play with a consenting adult partner is fun.  Believing that everyone who happens to have a vagina should be doing this to everybody who happens to have a penis is just delusional. 

If two (or more) adults want to have kinky fun, or live in a kinky relationship, then they are the only people who get to decide what is right and healthy and fun for them.  It's not my business to tell them that if they don't do it in a specific gender combination, they're doing it wrong.  The criteria for whether or not they are doing it right has a lot more to do with how happy and healthy they are in the long term than with the genital configuration of the dominant partner.

Status: offline 		I do not believe in female superiority (supremacy, to be applicable, would mean that women were better than at least *two* other categories).  I don't express D/s because I'm obliged to as the "better" gender; I do it because I want to.  As to hating men, the things I do are only pleasureable with a willing and contented (well ... *mostly* contented!) submissive. 

Some dominant women express the "Bow down at my feet, you worthless worm" idea.  This might seem like hatred.  Of course, some submissive men seek this.

Do I think that some women with dominant profile have issues with men and masculinity?  Yes. I also believe that if you look at submissive men, dominant men and submissive women, you will find people who have issues with their own and/or the other gender.
