Since I was 'called out' on my response, I'll borrow a few words to make my point (with all due respect to MistressSassy).
When I initially read your post, I believed the question to read, in effect, 'How dare women think this way?' But some do, and if the OP were to encounter one, he would learn quickly. The hard way.
On the other hand if, as most of you have, taken the question at face value, 'Are there people who think this way?' I would point to MistressSassy's reply. If you are in the middle of a scene/session/lifestyle and you express concern for something you don't understand in such a way that it seems utterly disrespectful, then buttons are going to be pushed, and again you would learn the hard way.
It's all right to ask questions, but understand what 'place' you are in as you ask them. That's not always to mean submissive 'place', but at least a respectful one. Language counts.
