I swear that I am going to build a concrete house, with steel roof to avoid worrying about fire...With non combustible furnishings and a hot water underfloor heating system.

You tape a key to the wall where you can reach it. And where the sub can reach it-it's only for emergencies. Do  bratty houdini act, and the sub loses the privilege of being tied in bed permanently.

You soak the ropes with gasoline so they burn very quickly and give the slave more time to get away.[;)]

Seriously, I have chained and collared my slave on the floor overnight a few times. Sometimes the noise of the chains is too annoying as I am a light sleeper.

My wife sometimes ties me up overnight when she wishes to remove my chastity belt to let the skin get good air movement. She usually uses a waist belt and then secures my wrist to the D rings on each side. It allows enough slack to move the arms slightly so cramping isn't an issue, just not enough to allow me to pleasure myself. She also uses ankle cuffs so i can't get up in the middle of the night and rub off against something.

I wouldn't be calm enough to casually reach over snatch the key and undue myself in cases of an emergency, People rarely are that level headed or cool in emergencies and in panic'ey situations.

What happend to just not jacking off, are you so untrust worthy that tieing up is nessisary to keep your hands off your member, or to keep you from rubbin off?

If it's just cause it's a hot thing yeah fine, but I'd have issues if someone was that untrustworthy I had to tie them up to keep them from whacking off.

I too have been tied overnight many times but loosely chained to the bed in general. It is really hard keeping the chains quiet! I've noticed others have noticed that. The other hard thing is to quietly try to pee in a pot while one is chained. lol

I've also been caged overnight but it was a relatively large cage . I've spent a long time cuffed to a spreader bar in bed and that is challenging, it was not overnight but it was a long time.

My ex chained me to the bed one night, using plenty of chain so I could move comfortably. In my sleep I rolled over, and smacked him in the face with cold chain...He never did it again.

That wouldn't work for you then, but some of us are actually very calm in emergency situations. There is a state of utter logic and calmness that some of us go to when that happens...the adrenaline rush that makes one shaky and incoherent happens after the crisis has passed...for me.

My former mistress used to tie me up overnight spreadeagle to the bed constantly. It was always so hard to get to sleep because you're constantly reminded that you're in bondage, and she always ended the night by putting me to bed AFTER teasing the hell out of me for an hour or so beforehand.

Unlike some of the other comments, I really didn't have that much of a problem with limbs or anything. The only problem I really ever remember was convincing myself to stop thinking about what she just did because now it was time to sleep.

yes popeye. i have thought about it. but when i work night wouldnt be a good idea. just in case  something would happen. i would bind her wrists with scraves and attached them to the headboard giving her enough slack to room around.

Benji, my main concern while being bound is stray cars coming through the window.  I'd still like to know what the plan is.  Is it "pick the bed up with the girl on it and throw the bed out the way of the oncoming vehicule" or "throw yerself over top of her and get squished too"???? 

i think a chair would be alot easier to throw out the way.  Course there would be a girl strapped to a chair getting thrown randomly.  And if the person is tied to the wall??  THEN what?  hmmmm

OR what if some maniac breaks in and starts to randomly fire off an uzi.  WHAT if an earthquake suddnely happens?  Sit there calmly and hope that she's either shaken free or held firmly inplace?  (hope the roof doesnt fall in either)
