The prophesies were about a king of Israel

Paint that king any color you like

Jesus believed he was the king of the prophesies, or some of the prophesies.

Being a Jew, he saw the writings far differently than Christians ever did

Very true. Of course there were no "Christians" (in the modern sense) during Jesus' time.

So do you agree that he never intended to start a religion based on himself, but rather saw himself as fulfilling Jewish law, and as a moral teacher.

And most importantly, found his own teachings to be perfectly compatible with Judaism???

BoscoX I was born a catholic. Most people are born into some stupid religion and don't get a choice. I doubt I ever really practiced despite being made to go to mass every Sunday but when you hit 15 you can say fuck off. Our churches are dead nowadays, or if you prefer 1/20 - 1/50 the number now in relation to the numbers when I was growing up and the average age of the congregation is possibly 50 plus.

All religion is merely a form of brainwashing and conditioning. I would ban them all if I had my way.

All religions appear the same to me with various degrees of bastardization and even what we all consider the older religions would have been based on stuff long lost to time and barely scratch the surface of oral tradition.

Most, even the ones that are possibly not related, although I think all are, have common believes or events. Like Creation and a Flood and the imparting of knowledge and wisdom.

Monotheism is the belief that one God and the Egyptians or older started that one.

Oldest religion is probably Zoroastrianism or Hinduism or whatever shit there's was based on. The America's has been inhabited for at least 25,000 to 30,000 and they maintain similar beliefs to deities and those related to creation and the likes.

The Bible says Gods not God
Catholic's don't have it correct that Jesus was god or that holy trinity shit, and we might be the only religion who believes it to be so.

Graham Hancock and the likes explain it better or at least what I mean but have typed badly.

If you take the easy Flood Myth there was probably a few of them and a couple of big ones There are over 200 distinct flood myths found in cultures around the world. These myths, found in diverse regions and spanning different time periods, share common themes and elements, suggesting a shared origin or the widespread impact of a significant historical flood.
