So chinese woman threw a black guy into the washing machine and out came out a Chinese guy after the wash, all clean up. I find it funny, I don't find it racist. Maybe we can have a commercial too that throws a chinese dude inside and out comes out a black dude. But what kind of product would that be? I don't know. Black clothes dye?

greta, one of the hallmarks of leftism these days is that pretty much anything that uses race in a way they don't like, or agree with, is racist.

Laundry detergent that Gets The Dirt Out, and changes a dark skin person to a yellow or white skin. Nope, no racism or judgement there. Now, explain that to a 5 yr. old black kid trying to figure out why all the people on TV don't look like him. Except the guy who got 'clean' and now doesn't look like him anymore.

You got to watch the Italian Ad that blank posted big time! And I would explain to the black 5 yr old that, this is just comedy. It's completely impossible that throwing a black guy into a washing machine could transform into a chinese dude. They just trying to make it funny, as comedy makes people remember commercials better.

I actually found putting the laundry pod in his mouth more disturbing. My four year old just watched this. A -What is she doing? Because while there is a lot of imaginative play that goes on in my house, some based on what is seen on tv, I have never been asked why they do not look like a My Little Pony, a kid from Charlie Brown, a Care Bear, or even Kenzie from Lost Girl. When I have read stories at night, I also do not get asked why they are not flat like Flat Stanely or have hats that shine in more-than-Oriental-splendor, like the Parsee man, nor the fish god Dagon.

I thought it was funny. I think what I learned most about it was that if I slap some emulsion over me then Chinese women will want me. Well, once they overcome the strange urge to wash me - fair enough as one of my cats has taking to pissing in the bath as I sit on the loo. So not only do I smell of utter woe, desperation, cheap Chardonnay I now have to tell slut bag Chinese women I use eau de cat toilette, and am positively feral.

Hell, I am part First nations (Native American for you Yanks), and yet, having grown up as a white person in a white person milieu I still find myself having racist anti first nation thoughts and ideas. This is simply because growing up I self-identified as white and so I absorbed the white culture. It took some rather ego bruising honest discussions with my First nations identifying family members to point it out to me. And in the years since I have grown to recognize that they were absolutely correct, and also that they themselves had a lot of racist anti-white ideas and cultural ideas. I am firmly convinced that all people are inherently racist, and the best that can be said of any given person is that they recognize their inherent and cultural biases and do their best to overcome them.
