Hey Jlf.

More interestingly, there are multiple plans for making guns out of plastic using 3d printers.

Whole interesting subject...

One time use plastic pistol 3D printed gun or do the final machining for a full gun, guess which one you'll choose. As for you Bama, you basically proved my case. Someone selling a gun posts an add on Craigslist because their buddies are all broke. A potential buyer inspects the gun, likes it and wants to buy it. You've known the guy for 10 minutes. You think someone has the ability to judge a persons character that quickly? If you can, you should apply for government work because they will hire you in 10 minutes. My old professor's daughter used to do it for airline security before she passed away. As for the rest of us that can't instantly read people, background checks prevent guns from falling into the wrong hands.

I remember reading about the 80 percent receiver assemblies. Atleast for the AR, it's doesnt even need a CNC, though if you wanted to mass produce number free weapons, which sell for significantly more on the black market, a CNC would make the process more efficient

When he sells it on the internet he is required by law to shipthe firearm toa dealer who then has to do a background check, but I guess you didn't know that.

You can post an ad online and meet in person, just like when people want to get rid of an old couch. Personally I wouldn't buy a knife or firearm I couldn't hold and inspect, especially second hand. No shipping but I guess you didn't know that

not for unfinished receivers, but for recievers (frames) that are finished.

GodsCronik -> RE: Majority OPPOSE "assault" weapons ban (1/15/2016 12:13:54 PM)

debating firearm laws with Americans is one of the most painful things I have ever partaken in. I have lost respect for a lot of people who I thought were intelligent. Please just look at the number of deaths per capita in Canada and in the states, if you are too daft or thick to draw a reasonable relationship between the two then there is no point in keeping up the conversation.

As for the "WE GONNA PROTECT OURSELVES" BS argument. 99.95% of you guys would run for cover, that is a fact.

And POTUS still has done nothing on gun control other than make a speech.

Yes I know that, I also know that the law on it varies from one state to another. You, by your own admition, know nothing about purchasing firearms except what your prefered politicos want you to believe. Personally I won't sell a used firearm unless they can show me a ccw. In case you don't know it having one involves a background check.

Then based on past history I am among the .05%.
However your opinion is based on the leftist myth that gun owners are all cowards.

BTW if discussing guns with Americans is so painful why do it.

Termyn8or -> RE: Majority OPPOSE "assault" weapons ban (1/15/2016 6:01:39 PM)

"debating firearm laws with Americans is one of the most painful things I have ever partaken in."

Then don't do it. We do not want to hear it, it has not a fucking thing to do with you and last but not least, go live in Detroit or Chicago. See, you don't HAVE a Detroit or Chicago. Or a Cleveland, my hometown. In fact we beat alot of major cities in the murder rate now and then. Chicago is in the lead right now but that is because there are rivals for the drug trade.

the bottom line is we breed criminals. the jails are full not only because of drug laws, but also because there are violent people here with no fucking morals who will choke you for your jacket, shoot you for your tennis shoes. and criminals have guns here. Your wimpy criminals do not. Our criminals can take your criminals any day of the week.

And as far as us running ? Well at least we got the choice, you don't.

What's more, after the shit I have heard from nosy foreigners, I get the impression they are jealous because we can have guns and they can't.

There is no other fucking reason for anyone NOT in the US to be arguing about US gun RIGHTS.

T^T

Termyn8or -> RE: Majority OPPOSE "assault" weapons ban (1/15/2016 6:03:29 PM)

Let me put it this way, let's say we got ten times per capita prison population than most of the world. Now half of those incarcerated are for drugs.

Let them loose and we will still have five times the per capita in prison.

T^T

Yes, this was written into the Brady Act. Yesterday's compromise is today's loophole and they keep asking for more.

My policy is a little bit different. I do not trade iron for gold. I will trade. I might trade down on my shotgun to get another handgun, but I will not sell it outright for cash.

I think that morally that is satisfactory because they already had a gun.

But protect your ass any way you see fit. I see nothing wrong with it really. If you won't sell to me because of no CCW, someone else will. I could probably pass. I got a few DUIs but no felonies or domestic violence, never had a retraining order and all that. I am just not sure I want o be on that list when the come for the guns.

And some people will say that is paranoia, but you know what ? There are things that are undoable. And then there are some things that are not. Among the things that are NOT undoable are burning things down, cutting them up, and getting on a list. the list lasts forever. Look how many people are on the no fly list for no fucking reason. Try getting off of that one. And then if you get a CCW, how do you get rid of it ? Tell "them" you don't have a gun anymore ? They will never believe you.

But if you are a Muslim refugee they ask if you have had weapons training and you say no, and then they find your fingerprints on a bomb in Pakisfuckingstan, that is OK. Fucking foreigners, in Mexico "I got me an Obam assault weapon", on the middle east "I got me an Obama rocket launcher" and in the US "I got an Obamaphone". And people have no need for these rifles, yet they send them to other countries, to rebels.

Ain't it funny how they got the propensity to help the south secede ? Veitnam, Korea, Sudan. If the south would have won here none of this shit would be happening. And no, it would not be like the old south. the idea of slavery was already falling out of favor down there even, except in a few places. But some people think the second amendment was intended to allow Citizens to quell slave uprisings.

People are so fucking stupid it amzes me they remember to breathe.

Haven't sold one in several years.
I would rather trade than sell, however sometimes you need cashfor things like food, and if a firearmis the only asset you can liquidate......

Duh, that is one of the basic first things they drill into your head in basic training, and in law enforcement...

When bullets start flying, find something besides your body to stop the bullets.

However, I will give you this, other than the person who starts the shooting, the idiot legally owning a gun that stands in the open like some warped John Wayne is the next person on the list that 1) does not need to own a gun, and 2) aint no great loss if he dont survive.

See Darwin.

You are making shit up again to suit your agenda. The left does not think you are a coward the left does not think about you at all.

The miiltary takes a dim view of that sort of behaviour. they usually charge the miscreant with destruction of government property. Had you ever been in the military you would have known that
