Vampires. Same principle as a stake through the heart.

My guess is vampires. The whole stake through the heart thing.

You have read Terry Pratchett, right? One of his characters notes that method is good for killing regular people too.

I have seen bits and pieces but my companion has been watching it.

SPOILER WARNING

I did comment about the last episode that, "You mean she won't kill what she eats?" Of course she has vowed that she will pull the trigger in the future.

You can't just shoot zombies. They have to be completely burned. Even a single pinky toe remaining will try to hunt.

Sure, you wanna shoot out their jaws, so they can't bite you, but they're still gonna try.

Yup, gotta burn the bastards.

JVoV, haven't you been watching the walking dead? The black woman with the katana found that when you cut off their jaw and their arms they suddenly somehow realize they can't eat or tear you apart and become tame. She hauled two around on a leash and other zombies smelled them and not her and ignored her. We learn more about zombies all the time.

Sounds like leftist propaganda. You'll be missed.

In all fairness to the survival of the human species, I'm probably already flunking rule No. 1. Maybe I should just do the experiment and see.

have to admit, love zombies but this one is slightly different, quirky, silly but fun. I like Blaine, but hes trying so hard to do the "James Marsters" routine(spike from buffy)

I watched Buffy the movie but I never watched the show. My late husband was a huge fan. I have still not decided if I want to try binge watching it or not. I have been thinking about it for years now. As in, before he died.

My next watch I think will be the 9 seasons of Supernatural on Netflix. I watched some episodes before the baby was born but watching it from the beginning would be fun. I would most like to find the newest season of Lost Girl. My daughter and I had a great time watching that together! (Yes, I let my seven year old watch a show about a succubus.)

In my opinion, the first few years of Buffy were light hearted and fun vampire slaying. Then it went all teenage female angst. When that starts you can stop watching because it's just more of the same from then on with a random vampire staking here and there.

I have s good friend who is a Mormon. His youngest son was getting ready to go off on his Mission. He asked the kid what he wanted to do before he went. The kid said he wanted to shoot his grandfathers guns. My friend called and asked if he could bring him and shoot at my house. I said sure and id let the kid shoot anything i had as well.

After a day of shooting, my friend told me it occurred to him, after seeing my stuff, that the whole idea that the church teaches to have a years worth of food stores seemed like it would be useless because guys like me would just come and take it. I said yup.

So what you are saying is that it became: "chic-y." LOL Depending on my mood, that can be a good thing.

Buffy is better than Supernatural (I have seen all of both series) and vastly superior to the Buffy movie. If you have to pic one Buffy, I would say make it "Once more with feeling" The spinoff (Angel) is pretty good to. Have you seen Grimm?

No. But I will check for it on Netfix. I am not much of a TV person. I like books.

Grimm is like Supernatural with a budget. And they deal with werethings, wolves, bears, beavers. etc.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer - movie was great. But, Sarah Michele Geller was way to wimpy to be believable as the slayer in the series.

The Anita Blake stories were good in the early ones but devolved into more an more supernatural romance novel memes with the later books. For my money; the Mercy Thompson stories are more entertaining.

iZombie has made a good start. Supernatural lost me half way through the second season. Grimm is a fun series. Kind of like a dramatized version of the Encyclopedia of Mythical Creatures.
