I'm with Robert Reich on the issue of "evil corporations," namely corporations behave as we allow them by the rules. If one does not like Corporate behavior, change the rules. The only way states can avoid extortion and being pitched against one another is through some kind of collective bargaining agreement -- and there's no sign of that happening. Also, one can only imagine the corruption that might go into some of these sweetheart deals. Nevada seemed to have some competitive advantages based on its location and geography -- besides tax incentives that won it the Tesla manufacturing plant.
