Here in American Polite, one needs to consider that no amount of studies or dead bodies will sway the gun-nutteria.

We have over 3000 children killed by firearms every year here and that number could be 30,000.....it still wouldn`t matter to the most selfish cry-babies in the world....

I'm not sure where you got this 3000 number but a quick search of the internet got a number of only about 200 children aged 12 and under having been shot and killed in 2013 in the USA.

A study published Monday in Pediatrics, the official journal of the American Academy of Pediatrics, revealed that a startling 10,000 children in the U.S. are either injured or killed in gun-related incidents each year, NBC reports.

According to the study, more than 7,000 kids visit the emergency room annually, or about 20 each day, due to gun-related injuries and another 3,000 die before they ever even make it to the hospital. The majority – about half — of those injuries and deaths are the result of assault, while less than 25 percent are due to accidents and under 300 cases – less than 3 percent — are ruled to be from attempted suicide.

The study seems fairly consistent with prior studies, which have previously put the annual firearm mortality rate in American youth at about 3,000.

Doctors are pointing to the new data as further evidence of the serious public health toll that gun violence takes on America’s youth.
The new study drilled down some of the data from a 2009 survey of kids’ pediatric stays. That year, the majority of kids’ gunshot injuries — 4,559 — resulted from intentional assaults with a firearm. An additional 2,149 were accidents, and 270 were suicide attempts. About six percent of the children who made it to the ER ended up dying in the hospital from their injuries, which are typically open wounds, fractures, or brain or spinal injuries.

I think he was asking how you know that the gangbangers were not included in the count. How do we know that gangbangers run those numbers way up? What is the count, what is the percentage or are you just playing stupid still, to his playing imbecilic? During which time impugnments are made sans evidence and fact?

How much of it is increasing because gangbangers buy guns because of the relaxation of rules? Where is the number?

This puker`s tactic, also draws attention away from the WAY TO MANY firearms accidents, that kill children.....

What the lunatic fringe is trying to suppose on all of America......is that over 30,000(over 3000 kids) gun deaths a year are acceptable......no biggie....They can handle it....

I don`t think that is the case in America.....which is why one will never get a reasonable debate about guns from the lunatic fringe/nra/ped nugget.....

The Republican dominated Missouri legislature are gun crazy. First... when conceal and carry was brought to a state wide vote it was soundly defeated by the people of Missouri. The Missouri legislature in their wisdom threw out the vote and passed conceal and carry legislation against the wishes of the public.

Now some years later:

They passed a law that made it illegal for federal agents to enforce federal gun laws in Missouri with a penalty of 1 year in jail... oh yea that will work... That bill was vetoed but this year it is back with even more gun crazy additions to the bill. They want to lower the age for C/C to 19... make it legal for gun owners to carry guns on a public school campus. That means some high school kids will be able to legally bring guns to school...Yes we do have 19 year old seniors here. This bill will require the school board approval but i can tell you that will not be a problem in most out-state districts. Finally they want to make it permissible for all gun owners to wear their guns in the open anywhere in Missouri.

So... nothing that happens in Missouri when it comes to guns surprises me...God help us.
